    The Abandonment of JFK

I can't say I remember when John F. Kennedy gave his inaugural address in 1961 - I wasn't even 9 years old. I do - as many other Americans - know parts of that now famous speech:
ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country
How times have changed. Democrats, and some RINOs, have totally reversed JFK's words:
ask not what you can do for your country - ask what your government can do for you
It's almost become a frenzy of government growth and socialistic handouts. Americans are far less self-sufficient and far more dependent on the government to guide and direct them as a parent would.

Each year more government mandates are created to control the citizens (and non-citizens). Provide easy access to government resources - at the expense of the taxpayer. Control business - what they pay, who they can hire, what they must provide. Control citizens - remove the freedom of choice from their option list.

Motivated by threats from liberals of being labeled "insensitive" or "mean" politicians quickly give in to the socialist's whines for more government handouts and control. America has been turning from a nation of able citizens into a nation of government-dependent weaklings. A recent example of this trend is public schools declaration (California) to do away with homework because it requires too much effort.

Just after that famous line from JFK he said:
My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man
The citizens of the world didn't heed this advise, but rather continue to demand money and resources from America - from us, the taxpayer. Freedom? Forget that. This is the age of government oppression and government handouts - and it will get worse, not better.

Watch and see how government will get BIGGER - more oppressive, not thinner - less oppressive. Watch and see who it is that is mandating BIG GOVERNMENT and who continues to make laws that tell us what we can or cannot do, how we should do it, and how we should do it, how much tribute we should pay - and remember them and their party come next elections. It's your money - not government's money. It's your life to control - not government's life to oppress. It's your choice to freely choose - at least it should be.

    Sometimes Bad Die Old

It is sad that former President Ford died, yet at age 93 not really a surprise. President Ford was a good man, and good people should live long lives. Unfortunately it doesn't always work out that way. For example, former President Carter is a very evil person and one of our worse presidents ever, yet he continues to live and Ford has died.

You know the phrase - the good die young. How true that is. How often I have heard outstanding good citizens die as the result of some preventable accident or disease, and I ask myself why such demise couldn't happen to some evil person instead.

Well near the end of 2006 I do get to embrace happiness because of the death expectations of some really bad people. These are people that are defects of the human race. These are people that have been full of hate and caused the oppression of so many innocent people. Three examples (out of many):

Louis Farrakhan - Nation of Islam hate monger - and associate of Keith Ellison (D-MN) - appears to be getting closer to death. After surgery in 2000 for prostrate cancer he now suffers from an ulcer on his ass. A fitting end to this evil person - please die soon and the world will be a better place.

Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti - otherwise known as Saddam Hussein, aka, friend of the liberals that don't want him executed. I wish I could be in Iraq when he dangles from the rope, then attend the after-justice festivities. Another one bites the dust - and the world will be a better place.

Fidel Castro - I mean really, this guy should have been assassinated years ago just for his horrible wardrobe! An oppressor of all Cubanites he is the model of modern day socialism. His workers work, and work, and work - yet have no freedoms to succeed in life. J.F. Kennedy should have wacked this fool years ago and helped bring freedom to Cuba. It's some kind of mental block liberals have about wanting other countries to enjoy freedom like Americans do - oh well. Fidel, just die and get it over with so I can visit Cuba for the big party when you die.
