    Omens

If you're into omens and superstition then you'll find the report of a 10 pound meteorite landing in Cambodia right up your alley. The villagers who saw it claim it is a divine omen of peace. Some were angry with the rock for causing fires, others want it left alone as a shrine. Guess some parts of the world are more superstitious than others. Perhaps Barbara Boxer, aka Kennedy, aka Kerry will be making a statement later that Dr. Rice knew about this meteorite attack on Cambodia beforehand.

Speaking of Dr. Rice I'm sure everyone knows she was confirmed today as Secretary of State. Did you know Dr. Rice is fluent in FIVE languages? I find it no surprise that even most Democrats voted for her confirmation - with the exception of the obvious embedded insurgents.

What I love best about the over-qualified Dr. Rice attaining the position of Secretary of State was the knowledge that ex-KKK member Robert Byrd must be developing some pretty intense ulcers - first a black Secretary of State and now a black woman - too funny, and obviously his KKK genes voted against Dr. Rice.

I know now why Kerry was smiling as he did during election. Turns out he knew that at least five Democratic activists were out slashing the tires of vans rented by Republicans to drive voters and monitors to the polls on Election Day. All are now facing felony charges. Don't expect Kerry to come forth and admit that he gave the orders that these activists (3 on his payroll) do what they did - he will lie to the American people as he has done all along. The official statement was the Democratic party had nothing to do with this - yeah, right. The odd thing is if this had been done by Republicans ABC, NBC, CBS would not have let this story go and investigations would be in demand.

I'm not sure but I think the democrat party has been the only party to embrace past KKK members. I'm not sure if "past" members really ever divorce themselves totally from that hateful way of thinking and keeping minorities from advancing.

So five loosely affiliated Democrats slashed some tires, and that's a national disgrace--but the head of Bush/Cheney 04 in New England is indicted on electoral fraud charges (after being named by two people already convicted for the same crime), and that's not important.
