    A Little Safer World

Yesterday morning Bakersfield, California police shot and killed an evil man. Shane Walton, 28, was evil - but he will not harm anyone else, ever. His last crime spree started when he carjacked a car from an innocent women at gunpoint, stealing her purse as well. As he traveled in the stolen car he robbed a pizza delivery person at gunpoint - an innocent person just trying to make a living.
Another evil person was shot and killed an otherwise peaceful campground at Crater Lake, Oregon this past Wednesday. Starting as a reported domestic dispute two rangers were confronted by this evil person wielding a large club and becoming increasingly hostile as he started wander around the campsite, around other campers. Even after pepper spray was used the man kept advancing on one of the officers. Let's just say this violent person will never threaten anyone again!
I have nothing but praise for the police departments throughout the country. They have a difficult job, especially when they pull their gun. They are human and make mistakes, and there are plenty of anti-authority people lying in wait to sue, to criticize, or to scrutinize a killing such as the above story - demanding an investigation whether or not excessive force was used and claiming there was excessive in spite of the reality of the moment. In my opinion, lethal force needs to be used more - but police are scared about potential repercussions.

I didn't realize this blog was written by God himself! Only God or the ultimate reality can judge whether a person is evil or not. We humans are able to discern evil acts, but none of us has been bestowed with the power or ability to judge an entire person, their innermost essence.

Well since you don't believe in a God and your own blog is expressly against Christianity and Judaism I’d hardly consider you a spokes person for God.

If you did have any atom of knowledge about the Bible you’d know it is populated with lessons for believers to beware of evil as well as how to know evil. Socialists don’t believe in such discernment, so they (and you, since you are an admitted socialist) try to cover evil, excuse evil, even permit evil. One favorite tactic of socialists and liberals is to make those that can recognize good from evil feel guilty for some reason. That tactic use to work – but no more. I feel proud and empowered to be able to know good from evil.

Since you’ve taken to such a fancy as claiming to know the will of God perhaps you’d like to recall some Bible verses:

Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. For such men are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting. (NAS, Romans 16:17-18) (probably foretelling of liberals and socialists!)

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight! (NAS, Isaiah 5:20-21) (again, fits the mindset of liberals and socialists!)

I write to thank you for your blog. It is most instructive. You see, I have never understood how a people could be so compliant and mindless as to allow a fascist police state to take root. The ignorance, skewed logic and total lack of humanity reflected in your blog, and the unquestioning cheerleading for the so-called 'conservative' government, which is by Webster's definition a fascist regime, helps me better understand the social dynamic. The most unconscionable hypocrisy of all, of course, is that it's all done under the guise of the 'christian' faith. Thanks again. I'll keep reading your blog. I will, prospectively, refer to you as, 'Exhibit A.'

LOL, do I get all kinds or what! LOL

Actually my posts have nothing to do with the Christian faith, but my last comment for this post was in response to a socialist trying to pretend he knew the will of God.

Sure - keep coming back, you might learn something!

I wrote nothing of the sort! This is what you have wrought by declaring certain people to be evil.

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!

You, of all people, should read this line again and again. You believe yourself to be oh so wise and clever.

Isn't it amazing (yet not unexpected) that there are people willing to come to the defense of criminals - violent people that have no problem bringing terror and often death to the good people?

Not many months ago we had a good citizen shoot and kill a crazed male that was attacking a female. Now let's see, who was the good person (GOOD) and who was the bad person (EVIL). Yes, believe it or not some people have a problem with this equation - as shown in the comments above.

The two incidences in my post reference the police (GOOD) vs. some bad people (EVIL). Yes, believe it or not some people have a problem with this equation - as shown in the comments above.

Think we need lots more Boy Scouts in the USA - at least they are smart enough to know good from evil! Can you imagine a socialist as a police officer? If confronted with someone raping a child that officer would just stand and watch, pondering which was the good and which was the evil person. If the child had a dropped a Bible that officer would probably look the other way. Such is socialism and the liberal mind.

You have an obvious comprehension problem. No one on this thread has "come to the defense of criminals". I've written nothing yea or nay about them. My criticism is pointed directly at you in that you have decided that YOU alone are a god-like judge and jury. If you decide that someone you've never met is evil through-and-through, then, according to you, it must be so.

I again urge you to read and to try to comprehend the citation you offered: "Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!" Sounds like Isaiah was speaking of you specifically.

BTW, are you a Christian? I ask this solely because, in the eyes of the Christian faith, each one of us is a sinner. Sin is doing/thinking evil.

According to your blog, anytime a person thinks an evil thought or commits an evil act, they become an evil person. Since sin = evil, it would follow that all of us (including you) are evil beings. Therefore, ANY time ANY person shoots, kills, maims or injures another, this act should be justified in your eyes.

In other words, following your twisted logic, you should be singing the PRAISES of Shane Walton for carjacking an evil woman and holding up an evil pizza delivery person.

I really think you should check your facts a little better before you label a dead man "evil". Besides the fact that you are hardly in the position to call anyone anything, you don't take the time to find out the real story before passing your judgement, no matter how unimportant or insignificant it may be.
