It's just 11 days until Barack Obama becomes president and, along with the most Liberal Congress we have ever had, leads us on the road of destruction.

Sometimes labeled The Magic Negro millions of voters elected him believing his sweet-talking promises how everything will be different in our country - and the world. I am just loving this false prophet and am already laughing daily.

Now really - think it over. If the business community believed all the BS of BO why bother laying off anyone? If magic dusk is going to be sprinkled come Jan. 20 - they should be planning to hire more people, right?

Sorry BO - the huge unemployment increases are a direct statement of NO CONFIDENCE in what you and your liberal Congress have planned for our country. The Liberal Congress that hijacked our country for the past 2 years, bringing the national debt to new heights, is about to be surpassed with a totally Liberal Congress and President - easily doubling what your children will owe to over $2,000,000,000,000+, that's over 2 TRILLION bucks.

Got Your Ticket To the Big Orgy Of 2008?

About five days ago news of $50,000 worth of sex toys missing from the secure police property room of the Houston Police department hit the news. I had to wonder why a couple of union cops would steal so many sex toys. Then it hit me - the biggest union ooze fest was about to take place.

A wild orgy of sex (both straight and homo and in-between), promoting a unified America via forced unionization, Bush-bashing, globalization frenzies, and all the more "Progressive" agenda you probably don't want your children exposed to.

Many little side workshops will take place. For example, in the kinky toilet sex corner orgy goers will enjoy a series of meetings held jointly by TheNation.com and Progressive Democrats of Amerika. Notice they just aren't Democrats - they are "Progressive".

NO To Nipples, Cleavage OK

In what sounds like future Sharia law for the U.S. military a tiny few righteous representatives have introduced legislation - HR 5821 - to ban certain men's magazines on U.S. military bases around the world.

The righteous few, sort of like Islamic clerics, have deemed such material has been responsible for increases in sexual assaults and "other problems".

Among the definitions of what is banned:

The term `lascivious' means lewd or indecent and intended, designed, or given to elicit a sexual response.

Yet:

does not include the exposure of the cleavage of the female breast exhibited by a dress, blouse, bathing suit, or other apparel.

So somewhere in Washington D.C. will be a couple of the super-righteous cleric-types that will strip (pun not intended) the freedom of choice from the very people that fight for freedom. Wow.

I have a better idea to solve sexual assaults and those "other problems":

• Let's stop forcing our freedom fighters to put their lives and limbs on the line for Islamic countries where true freedom can never exist

• Let's stop forcing them to serve such huge tours of duty away from their families.

All Problems Solved!

Since Congress has solved all of American's problems they are so bored that they need to find something to do. Hey - let's go after that ole American pastime - Baseball! Let's play Gestapo and force ourselves into the lives of the baseball players. Yeah, let's show them who da boss really is. After all, we are Congress - we ARE the law - we are omnipotent.

The farce of the so-called PED (performance enhancing drug) hearings are another example of the obtrusiveness of the federal government into the lives of American adults. Besides the obvious grand-standing by both sides in front of the media think of the millions of dollars totally wasted - and for what? Is this a matter of national security? Does the economic future of the USA hang in the balance of baseball and who has taken some drug?

First - these are adults, and as adults, the government has no business dictating what adults choose to eat or drink, what drugs they might take or not, as long as the actions of the adults do not harm or include a child. PEDs are not some miracle pill. You or I cannot take them and suddenly become a super baseball hitter. If these drugs really do improve performance then I would demand each Congress person take them daily because in my mind, Congress has done absolutely nothing worthy of a paycheck.

Millions of people drink coffee each morning, and unless it's decaf they drink it to enhance their performance. It gives them a buzz. Most students know it will help to eat something with sugar before a test - sugar is brain food and it can help.

Government must be forced to drop its mandates it has given itself when it comes to drugs and how adults in this country choose to use them. American adults are forced to conditions and requirements set forth by government - restricting freedom of choice and freedom of access.

Last week Oregon Zustand-Polizei seized 244 slot machines from a shop south near Newport, Oregon. If you wish to own your own working slot machine you are a criminal. You do not have the freedom to own one even if it's located in your own home and used exclusively by you. ES WIRD DURCH REGIERUNG VERBOTEN!

The Zustandregierung of Mississippi wants to take away the freedom of chubby people to eat in restaurants. Government often makes laws "in the interest of public safety" - translated: Take away a person's freedom. If this legislation becomes law and you're fat don't try and eat at a restaurant. ES WIRD DURCH REGIERUNG VERBOTEN!

The Bundesregierung forbids adults from growing and/or using Cannabis (marijuana). Even if you have no children and you wish to smoke in your own home - you are subject to arrest and imprisonment. How many deaths each year do you hear of caused by alcohol? Over 20,000 killed just in traffic collisions, with thousands more maimed each year. How many deaths caused by cigarettes? Yet, as an adult, you do not have the freedom to own and/or use this plant. (A far cry from when the US Government made their movie "Hemp for Victory" during WWII explaining how great hemp was). ES WIRD DURCH REGIERUNG VERBOTEN!

If you're an adult and wish to eat foods with trans fats, even knowing it's not the healthiest fat to consume, your freedom of choice is being taken away by various Zustandregierung - in the interest of (of course) your health. It's a favorite of big government to enact laws to take away freedoms - to tell us they do so for our own good. Bans on high fructose corn syrup are coming as well - so if you are an adult and wanted a yummy donut with trans fats and HFCS your freedom to indulge will be stripped from you. Es IST VERBOTEN!

Does your presidential candidate want an even bigger government? Do they want more government controls over our lives? To force you to behave a certain way or accept the principles of government over your own?

Reality Of The Patriot Act?

If the government used the Patriot Act (PA) to protect citizens from sharks it would have features like this:

• All creatures of the ocean are suspect
• Hydrophones placed in all places there is water
• Photo surveillance to track and record minnows, octopus, bass, etc. as potential threats
• Background investigations on any creature with a mouth
  

Get the picture? The exact profile of the shark is known - but is ignored. It would be ignored so the sharks would not be offended for being profiled. It doesn't matter all other animal life in the ocean have their rights violated, politicians don't want to be labeled as racist, bigots, or profiles at the risk of losing future votes. It's more stylish to be politically correct.

While agencies are listening in on ocean life that doesn't fit the shark profile, they are wasting their limited resources - and causing lethal risk. The same is true with the real PA and protecting the USA.

Everyone knows the profile of the modern terrorist - Muslim. When the next terrorist attack takes place in the USA (or anywhere really) it will be by Muslims - not Buddhists, not Christians, not atheists, not country singers, etc. Muslims have terrorized the recent world before 9/11, on 9/11, and after 9/11. The next terrorist attack will be Islam-driven, by Muslims and by Muslim sympathizers (Russian?).

To pacify the Muslim community all citizens of the USA are suspected terrorists. Both Republican and Democrat parties have expanded the eyes and ears of BIG GOVERNMENT to scrutinize you and I - simply because they refuse to publicly acknowledge the true threat. They fear words and lawsuits by Muslims more than they do any terrorist attack on our soil.

Republicans are at the top of the list for supporting these un-constitutional and unprecedented actions of BIG GOVERNMENT. If you are not guilty then you have nothing to fear is something even I use to say - until I wised up.

As limited resources are wasted on the law-abiding citizens Islam grows stronger, claiming more and breaking traditions to favor Islam. From a historical Empire State Building going green for the Islamic celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, to mandated foot bath installations in public schools and airports, to new "hate crime" investigations applied to people that express their free speech concerns - Islam grows stronger around the world, and the security of the world shrinks.

So have you felt safer with the Patriot Act in place? Do you think our government is protecting us the best it can? Personally, I feel more vulnerable than ever before. If you don't get killed by a Muslim then some illegal south of the border alien gang member or drunk will kill you.

Sharks And The Patriot Act

Linda Whitehurst survived her attacker - a white pointer shark - near Byron Bach Australia. Over on the Sunshine Coast of Australia they boast of no shark attacks for more than four decades - but the people know they are there - lurking.

Officials charged with the protection of the citizens are aware of the dangers and how to identify impending attacks. They have strong profiles of all types of sharks, and what they have in common is: they are all sharks of one type or another. They know where and when they are most likely to swim, which pose the greatest threat, which are likely to be alone and which in groups. The profile the sharks.

The common factor: they are all sharks. They don't spend their resources watching out for sea turtles, bass, goatfish, mados, smelt, archerfish, etc. The greatest threat is from sharks - not from other sea life.

The alleged purpose of the Patriot Act was to strengthen the ability of the USA to protect the citizens. At first, I was all in favor of this legislation. It sounded good - catch the enemy communicating their next attack plans and stop them in their tracks. Both Democrats and Republicans enacted this and both a handful of Democrats and Republicans opposed it. The concept was limited to domestic - foreign communications.

When Democrats got control of congress and passed more intrusive government legislation that included solely domestic eavesdropping I began to be suspicious. I had to take several steps back to grasp the big picture - why was big government getting even bigger in the domestic snooping arena?

Democrat Congress Makes History!

The Democrats, upon gaining control of both the House of Representatives and Senate, proclaimed a new day in America. Nancy Pelosi proclaimed a new day, a victory for women and children. (Somehow using "women" and "children" together in the same sentence by a child murder-promoting Democrat seems a bit hypocritical).

Anyhow, so what have Democrats done to make history? The Democrat approval rating has hit an historic low - 11% - far less than the President. Anyone notice that CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and the other liberal sucking media no longer mention the President's approval rating? Guess they're too embarrassed with their own conglomerate of disappointing BIG GOVERNMENT promoting slime.

So like the article points out:

The good news is; an 11% approval rating for congress means that there's at least a chance that 89% of the country is coming to its senses...

Other than cause further strife in the country, can anyone tell me what these Democrats have done to deserve their paychecks? Nothing - other than the usual pushing through of pro-labor union legislation, attempt to disarm citizens, protect terrorists, attack America, attack US troops, promote globalism, demote our Constitution, promote environmental fear (and redemption through higher taxes or payments to their organizations), increase taxes, and child exploitation.

Democrats could care less about children. As a matter of fact they are seriously worried the "right" of a woman to murder an innocent child - mature enough to live outside the mother - will be taken away. Each time a potential Supreme Court nomination comes up abortion is Democrat's #1 concern. On the other hand, which party seeks to protect the innocent child? Democrats? Get real. (I have no problem with abortion is done in the first 3 months, but after that the fetus has advanced beyond a mass of cells).

So no wonder Democrats have no problem using pictures and stories of children to advance their BIG GOVERNMENT socialist goals - less freedom, more taxes (Democratic Oregon is even trying to push through a Constitutional amendment to mandate more taxes - for the children, of course!). For example: Deception: Healthcare - for the children. Reality: Socialized healthcare - possibly going to jail if you seek healthcare outside "the system".

Let's hope 89% of the population really want more freedom, less government, and lower taxes!

Mandating Less Freedom

I'm really getting a bit pissed at the ever-increasing loss of freedom for citizens of the USA. Now when I talk about freedom I'm referring to freedom of choice for adults - and it is that freedom that continues to erode. Instead of asking if you are better off than you were 20 years ago you should ask if you feel you have more freedom of choice than you did in the past.

This post in not a rant on Democrats or liberals, so just read it before judging it. We all know most all Democrats favor big government, more taxes, bigger social handouts, and diluting the Constitution in favor of a "global rights" law.

Did you know Conservatives are just as guilty of your loss of freedom? The Bush Administration's choice for commissioner of the FDA wants to really sock it to Americans - and do so hard. FDA Docket No. 2006D-0480 would lead to:

• Growing and selling common garden herbs will get you arrested as a drug dealer
• Massage oils and handheld massagers will be regulated as "medical devices."
• Vegetable juice will be regulated as a drug
• Weight machines will be regulated as "medical devices" and require FDA approval before being sold or used
• Raw sprouts and other anti-cancer foods will be regulated as drugs
• Bottled water that "treats" dehydration will be regulated as a drug
• Massage therapists who use hot rocks as part of their therapy will have the ROCKS regulated as medical devices! (It's true. The FDA will actually look at a pile of rocks and declare, "Those are medical devices!")
• Foods, supplements, vitamins and homeopathic remedies will disappear from store shelves, pending FDA "review."
• Vitamin store owners will be arrested and prosecuted for "practicing medicine without a license."
  

We must stop BIG BROTHER from getting BIGGER!

Celebrating BIG GOVERNMENT

What better way to celebrate President's Day than to see how the rights of people are diminishing and government is growing.

Oregon is considering a cell phone ban for drivers. Our police can't even keep drunk drivers off the roads and now our state wants to put more burden on the police. My problem is with the freedom to make a phone call within your own vehicle. This is something government has no business controlling. People that are unable to drive and hold a phone have mental focus problems, so I guess there had better be laws against everyone drinking coffee while driving - and brushing your hair - and eating a carrot. Stay out of our lives BIG GOVERNMENT!

Texas will be requiring girls to receive mandated HPV vaccinations. Imagine that - vaccinations forced by the government on young girls. Do lawmakers have a vested interest in pharmaceutical companies that would benefit from this mandate? It's not the fact the vaccine hasn't been on the market long enough to know if there are long term side effects - it's an issue of BIG GOVERNMENT mandating girls get injected. Stay out of our lives BIG GOVERNMENT!

New York started the anti-trans fat laws now other cities and states are jumping in. What government can do is require labels so people are aware what they are eating - then let people make their own choice. When BIG GOVERNMENT mandates what people stick in their mouths then they have gone too far. Think it's odd that people can still smoke cigarettes but not eat a cookie with trans fat in it? Stay out of our lives BIG GOVERNMENT!

An Oregon bill would require climbers to carry beacons. Is it really government's responsibility to think for high-altitude climbers? Maybe what would make better sense would be an intelligence test for climbers prior to allowing them up the mountain. Or how about no beacon, no rescue attempt. Government knows best? Stay out of our lives BIG GOVERNMENT!

Note: Lars Larson is talking on radio in favor of this right now. He says he's against government telling people what to do, but sometimes there are exceptions. Hey Lars - you can not be a little pregnant! Either you are for government control or you're against it - make up your mind! Always knew you had liberal in you.

Mississippi wants to force State Farm insurance to stay in their state - and force the company to insure homeowners. BIG GOVERNMENT already dictates what businesses should pay no-skilled workers, now BIG GOVERNMENT wants to dictate where business must conduct their business. Stay out of our lives BIG GOVERNMENT!

Same Old Democrap

Is there nothing new? Seems like across the country it's the same old theme - Democrats are pushing for BIGGER government, Republicans want smaller government. Democrats want MORE government control; Republicans want more choices in the hands of the individual. Consider:

Minimum wage - by analogy Democrats support handing out a fish while Republicans would rather teach people how to fish on their own and catch as many as they want. The underlying reality is Democrats want MORE government manipulation and control of the workforce. Democrats don't have the interests of individual freedoms as a priority.

Education - In Bush's State of the Union address the push for school vouchers was made. Democrats oppose this because it would mean more freedom for parents and goes against their desire for BIGGER government. Vouchers also are a threat to their union sponsors (yeah, unions control Democrats if you don't already know that). Republicans want less government control and are pro-parent choice. Democrats don't have the interests of individual freedoms as a priority.

Murder - Even as a child is being delivered Democrats say murder (late-term abortion) is ok - that a mother has some sort of judicial right to kill that child. While I am ok with extremely early abortion in the case of rape, incest, or other criminal activity I find it sick that Democrats promote late-term abortion - murder. And Natzi Pelosi had the nerve to be surrounded by children during her coronation - what hypocrisy! Democrats also are the party that opposes the death penalty. What is it with murder that appeals to Democrats? Democrats don't have the interests of children as a priority.

Failure - Have you ever heard a Democrat express their plan to protect America from terrorists (they rather protect and cuddle them)? Have you ever heard a Democrat express how to make Iraq a success story? Don't hold your breath - they never will. At one blog I posted a comment that maybe Democrats cutting off funds for Iraq or taking some action to cause our failure in Iraq would empower terrorists so much that I doubt Democrats would be in power for 50 years. Hmmm - maybe a short term loss would be a long term gain?

English - A bill introduced in the House calls for an amendment to the Constitution to make English our official language. Don't expect Democrats to be excited about this one. Having a formal common language would instill pride - something Democrats reject. Democrats thrive on confusion and disarray. Just watch and see if I'm right - and I am. Heck, think of all that money it would save various governments in printing costs alone! Democrats don't have the interests of America as a priority.

Do labels offend you? Do you routinely play the "offended" or "guilt" cards? Are you ready for big government to strip you of your First Amendment rights?

Now I will be the first to tell you in most all situations I have the intelligence to use appropriate language - it is the proper way. In America, most all people have the decency to be compassionate - this is probably the most compassionate country in the world.

For years Democrats have used the "offense card" to strip away at our rights to freedom of speech - part of the First Amendment to the US Constitution. That's right - Democrats. Democrats have consistently been the party of stripping citizens of their civil rights - and all the time they have accused conservatives of this. Democrats twist and contort concepts of religion and of course - use that "offensive" card to manipulate our rights.

Let's consider some recent examples:

• Democrats using the "offensive" card to make it illegal to say certain word(s) - Brazoria, TX
  
  
• Democrats attempted to silence the voices of ordinary citizens - saved by Republicans and a couple of Democrats
  
  
• Democrats apply non-constitutional laws to jail a pro-child man (playing the "offended" card)
  
  
• Democrat liberal Frederick County Public School officials banned pro-child leaflets - direct violation of the Constitutional rights of conservatives
  
  
• Democrat officials in Cleveland routinely harass pro-child advocates from speaking
  

I could go on and on but just get one thing straight - the abundance of threats to the First Amendment rights do not come from conservatives, they come from Democrats.

Union Bosses Want Your Money Too!

If the union bosses gets their way - and they might with so many of their bitches about to take control next month - employees that are not union members will be forced to pay up.

This is punishment to be imposed upon non-union workers simply because they aren't paying those extortionist union dues. Quaintly called a fair share fee it will first be considered for Iowa - spearheaded by Democrat (of course) House Speaker-select Pat Murphy. Their house GOP leader, Christopher Rants, has issues with this punishment tax:

Rants took issue with a proposed "fair share" fee being considered for non-union workers who benefit from a work agreement but pay no dues to labor organizations that negotiated contracts under Iowa's right to work law. That was another issue not discussed during the 2006 election campaign, Rants said, and is a place where Republicans will "draw the line" on bipartisanship next session.

Once it passes in Iowa, expect all non-union workers to receive their proper punishment - thanks to the Democrats - on - a - union - rope politicians.

Meanwhile, union bosses are whining about Immigration enforcement removing illegal workers in various meat packing plants. Why would union bosses want illegal aliens to stay? Because they pay the union bosses with their union "dues".

Expect supreme Democrat - on - the - union's - payroll bitch Pelosi to make sure such roundups don't happen in the future. You know Pelosi - the same that opposed a House immigration bill that would have made being in the USA illegally a felony.
