    CNN vs. FoxNews

Which has the best news? Which is the least bias? CNN has been around for the longest time. Fox purports to be un-biased with a slogan of We Report, You Decide. Now I have used both of these online sources as links for various postings as well as many others. I tend to watch Fox News when I want more details and CNN Headline News when I want an abbreviated sweep of the top stories.

I do question CNN for some of their tactics - especially when they were caught making deals with Saddam - soften their coverage of the facts in exchange for keeping their Baghdad bureau. Knowledge of murder, torture, and planned assassinations were suppressed.

More recently is the coverage of the oil-for-food scandal and the lack of adequate coverage by CNN. The attention given to this huge heist by CNN has been minimal to say the least. On the contrary, the coverage by Fox News has been upfront and revealing. I had to wonder why this was, and just a few minutes of Google found something that would definitely contribute to the lack of honest reporting by CNN. Could the fact that Ted Turner is on the Board of Directors of UNA-USA? This it the USA strong lobbying arm for the UN. Cloaked as a non-profit organization they basically try to make the UN look good as well as push for the USA to give more money to the UN for "charitable" and "humanitarian" causes. Now if that wasn't enough of a conflict of interest for CNN there's the fact that Ted Turner has donated $1 BILLION to the UN over a period of 10 years. Do you really think Ted-boi will let CNN tell the full story when it comes to how corrupt his UN is?

So again CNN is suppressing news from their viewers. So when Ted Turner compares Fox News to Hitler as he did a couple of weeks ago let's remember how Hitler controlled the news, allowing his people to hear only what he wanted them to hear. Gee - sort of sounds like Ted Turner and CNN.

Naw, he ain't shootin' dice. He found out that there are still Jane Fonda tinkle targets in the restrooms of VFW halls that haven't been removed yet.

Tip Top post!! Wow...pretty exhausting if you think about all the things we have to think about and consider now when looking at MSM news and stories and what they choose to cover or not cover...With information you presented here about TUrner, this case of Turner likening FOX to Hitler is a great example of what we therapists call PROJECTION!!!!

Charles Krauthammer and Bill Kristol giving advice to Bush speech writers on the state of the union address, then commented favorably on it is just a vanity issue. I fail to see how it even remotely compares to hiding the knowledge of murder, torture, and planned assassinations.

Given Ted Turner has a miniscule holding in CNN's corporate parent, I think he has nothing to do with CNN's coverage. There have been about four stories involved in the real corruption of the Iraq oil for food program...the only way to cover a very few stories is to talk about the same thing over and over again, something which lends itself to Fox, a conservative opinion station which is nearly news-free, and has nearly no reporters in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, or Latin America. Hence Fox's ridiculously poor coverage of the tsunami; it's because news isn't what they do.
