Our country has many old laws that need to be cleared out. At the same time, there are laws that are needed to help the good people. Laws exist not only for punishment but to keep a sense of order. Laws should exist only for the benefit and protection of the good people. Why should the bad people benefit or be protected? Some laws I'd like to see:
- A child born to illegal aliens in the USA would not become an American Citizen since one or both parents were here illegally.
- An oil company that obtains their (oil) product domestically should not be allowed to set their selling price tied to the OPEC price.
- Citizens that watch over the border of their state would be allowed to arrest illegal aliens as well as transport them to the closest border patrol station.
- The word "free" could not be used by merchants unless the item or service was actually at no cost and not conditional on purchasing something else or any fee (like shipping) applied. Likewise sales offers that have conditions or exclusions must be displayed in the same font size, same color, and be displayed for the same length of time as the "bait" offer.
- It would be illegal for any city, state, or federal entity to be unionized. When a service funded by taxpayer monies is unionized and that union desires to go on strike the taxpayers then become the victims. These extortion activities would be illegal.
- Male pedophiles convicted of such with solid evidence would be castrated after their first offense and required to serve their entire sentence. A second conviction, again with solid evidence, would exact the death penalty.
- Anyone under 18 years old that kills, aside from self defense or as the result of defending another under lethal threat, would be treated as an adult.
- It would be illegal for any business of any size to hire an illegal alien - even for agriculture work. This is outsourcing on USA soil.
- Panhandling would be illegal.
I can come up with many more - maybe another post someday. I'm sure you can come up with many yourself. Let's protect the good people in this country - let's not become an endangered species!

A second conviction whereas the culprit was released earlier than the mandatory sentencing guidlines dictated will result in the responsible judge to serve the complete sentence.

I like it. Although I do think that if a child is born of one citizen and one illegal, the citizen parent should win out, making the child a citizen.
I'd also:
require tractor-trailers to keep right at all times on the freeway;
require all public high-school students to undergo basic military training as a final requirement for graduation (physically handicapped or otherwise ineligible for military service would be able to substitute one semester of other civil service);
require, in addition to driver's education, teens to take hunter safety and firearms training in public school (even if you object to hunting or firearms, you should have a basic understanding of what they are, and how to be safe around hunters and/or guns);
spend tax dollars on building new oil refineries and nuclear power plants;
mandate English as the official language of the United States and require all children to be taught English as their primary language in public schools;
allow all parents to spend their tax dollars on whatever private school they choose if they object to any of the above.
