    Were You Duped?

Did you really think that maybe it was ok for all those illegal aliens to flood, and continue to flood, into our country? Millions of these felons (yes, they have committed a felony by being in this country illegally) have been here for many years, sucking resources that were suppose to go to our legal citizens and children. They continue to come - more, and more, and more, and more - like an infectious cancer run rampant.
Did you really buy into that joke that they should be allowed to be here to do the jobs that the rest of us wouldn't do? Be truthful now - were you suckered like many others to believe that lie?
Would you feel the impact if every month you had to pull cash out and just hand it to the illegal aliens in your area? You actually do that now but because it's embedded in the taxes you pay you just don't think much of it. Would you give it more thought if you felt the impact face-to-face? Depending on how hard you work and how much you are taxed just be forced to pull maybe a couple of hundred of dollars out of your pocket and just hand it to some Mexican, then maybe you would start wonder what the hell is going on here. That was money that was supposed to go to my children, or my town, or pay my medical.
So many Mexicans have infiltrated our country illegally that they have even representation by other Mexicans that have made it into political office. Did you know about the monument in Baldwin Park, California that was paid for by taxpayers and placed on public land that reads "This land was Mexican once, was Indian always, and is and will be again" and "It was better before THEY came". Now in case you can't figure it out the "THEY" refers to us legal Americans - whatever your race or color. You can see actual pictures of this subversion here.
Tell me - are you still being duped?

This is a pretty straightforward issue. We shouldn't take in non-citizens--it hurts legitimate citizens by spreading resources too thin. By the same token, we shouldn't be installing governments in Middle Eastern countries.

it hurts legitimate citizens by spreading resources too thin - more so that is is simply illegal and an issue that left wing extreme socialists allow.

we shouldn't be installing governments in Middle Eastern countries - please check your facts - we have not installed any governments in the Middle Eastern countries. If you are refering to Iraq, they have held their own elections - they could have voted for a dictator but didn't.

Check the facts! When you post without facts is just makes you look ignorant.

I hear the federal government is handing out $1 BILLION in our money to border states to help them pay health care costs for the illegal aliens that are invading our country with the objective of conquering the Southwest. This is the equivalent of providing free health care to the British while they were burning Washington in the War of 1812.

A most excellent FACT van helsing, thanks!

Van Helsing missed the important point--that billion dollar handout is with best wishes from George Bush. That's his personal gig. Lou Dobbs on CNN warned about this coming up LAST AUGUST. And the government in Iraq may not be an "American Installed" government, but we were careful to start off with a provisional government headed by L. Paul Bremer, and we were instrumental in "helping" the Iraqis decide who would constitute the interim government that just happened to contain people our government approved of. We had orginally selected a fellow by the name of Chalabi to head that, but then WE kicked him out when it was discovered that he was having little secret conversations with the Iranians. So WE booted him out. We may not have installed the government directly, but we sure as hell were involved in influence up to our armpits. As to illegal immigration costs, good posts. Recent concerns over a central american gang operating in el salvador that practices beheadings down there that could have ties to al-qaeda raises serious issues about who could be coming across the border. Its time the Minutement were armed. Bush ain't dealing with this.

Nothing makes me angrier than our borders not being protected. I've been writing about this for ages in my blog.

Well, you can thank Bush for that.

I have the newspaper in my hands right now as I type. The headline reads, "U.S. to Fund Migrant Care."

You talk about all the whining, leeching Americans sitting on their asses collecting welfare. Look at the statistics. More than half of the bums that we're taking care of with our hard-earned salaries are going to those illegal aliens.

I don't know where you live. Wherever you are, you seem to be well aware of how serious this situation is. I've lived in both California and in San Antonio. Seeing and hearing about the leakage of illegal criminals and the possibility of terrorists invading our country through our borders head on is very, very disturbing and aggravating (to say the least).

You know, it's not a matter of "if" but "when" our next terrorist attack will be carried out. You know it.

You talk about "cost of social handouts to unproductive whiners"? Well, guess what? This here Liberal is just as pissed as you are. Yep. My salary is going to "their cause" as well. All of us Libs are contributing to "unproductive whiners" too - not just the Republicans.

    It's a shame.

Again, thank Bush. Thank our bleeding heart, politically correct judicial system and government.

it's easy for a simple minded taoist to be simple minded. While the few touchy-feelies sit around commiserating over how unfair the rest of us are, the rest of us are working, paying taxes, and making the system work. Its easy to be simple minded if you don't have to think seriously about anything.

brilliant retort, jackass. He doesn't agree with you so naturally he doesn't work or pay taxes. Thanks for the insight, Archie Bunker.

And "justadog": You're right, America had nothing to do with Iraq's flimsy new government and wont need to continue being a presence there. Nobody has died in the process either. And it has cost our country nothing.

I was refering to a principle, to wit, we shouldn't be expending resources on non-citizens inside the country, or outside the country. It leaves less for each legitimate citizen. Is this difficult to follow?

Use logic! When you respond without employing your basic logical faculties and just repeat the Republican party take on issues, it makes you look asinine!

Well I see site author is back. I rant quite a bit about politicians and hollywood nutcases, and feel no guilt about that because people who voluntarily put themselves in the public light especially those in political office have made themselves subject to scrutiny and rejection. One thing I don't do, however, is stoop to the low level of calling others name without really extreme provocation. There is an old Chinese proverb that says "He who strikes the first blow has admitted his arguments have given out." By resorting to name calling, we can pretty much rest assured that there are no valid arguments left for you to make.

The government is always WASTING money. And they could be wasting THIS money on something far worse.

As long as "Big Buis" money keeps the ability to buy laws this issue will not go away. They will throw millions at congress to protect their rights to make millions off cheap labor. This is an issue on both parties, but obviously its bad for the GOP who depend heavily on that income.
Between bleeding heart liberal lobbying, and coorporate lobbying, nobody will vote for common people. This issue wont get solved till we get another attack or two on our soil.
