    Know Thy Enemy

Think I'll try to make Thursdays a day where I present information about a specific terrorist group. Remember, knowledge is power!
Today: Revolutionary Organization of Socialist Muslims (aka, Abu Nidal Organization)

    Description
    :
International terrorist organization led by Sabri al-Banna. Split from PLO in 1974. Made up of various functional committees, including political, military, and financial.
    Activities:
Has carried out terrorist attacks in 20 countries, killing or injuring almost 900 persons. Targets include the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Israel, moderate Palestinians, the PLO, and various Arab countries. Major attacks included the Rome and Vienna airports in December 1985, the Neve Shalom synagogue in Istanbul, the Pan Am Flight 73 hijacking in Karachi in September 1986, and the City of Poros day-excursion ship attack in July 1988 in Greece. Suspected of assassinating PLO deputy chief Abu Iyad and PLO security chief Abu Hul in Tunis in January 1991. ANO assassinated a Jordanian diplomat in Lebanon in January 1994 and has been linked to the killing of the PLO representative there. Has not attacked Western targets since the late 1980s.
    Location/Area of Operation:
Al-Banna relocated to Iraq in December 1998, where the group maintains a Al-Banna relocated to Iraq in December 1998 where the group maintained a presence until Operation Iraqi Freedom, but its current status in country is unknown. Known members have an operational presence in Lebanon, including in several Palestinian refugee camps. Authorities shut down the ANO's operations in Libya and Egypt in 1999. The group has demonstrated the ability to operate over a wide area, including the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. However, financial problems and internal disorganization have greatly reduced the group's activities and its ability to maintain cohesive terrorist capability.
My summary: If you read the area of operation you find this terrorist group was stationed in Iraq back in 1998 - long before Saddam was overthrown (contray to what the liberals try to tell us). Although this murder gang has killed/injured at least 900 people the UN nor Amnesty International nor any liberal member of our congress has spoken against them.

To be inclusive, be sure to include the state sponsors of terrorism, which are often overlooked when discussing this odious tactic. There are many such participants including, unfortunately, the U.S. military. We can hopefully end this practice once the neo-fascists who have seized control of the country are brought to justice.

And from where do most of the suspects in the London bombings hail from? Pakistan. A current ally of the US & Britain.

So, we find 16 of the 19 suspects in the 9/11 attack come from Saudi Arabia (our ally), yet we attack Afghanistan and then Iraq. It should follow then, since Pakistan (remember, an ally) is the home of the London bombing suspects, that Britain should now attack Iran or maybe the United Arab Emigrates.

    Makes perfect sense...to the senseless.
