The ACLU - The TRUE Agenda

From the mouth of ACLU founder Roger Baldwin:
    … Communism is the goal.
How many times have we heard card-carrying members of the ACLU pretty much quote Roger Baldwin when he (Baldwin) said
So long as we have enough people in this country willing to fight for their rights, we'll be called a democracy.
Sounds so patriotic don't it? You imagine American flags flying at all ACLU offices, background music of our national anthem, etc. Far from it. We can know the past, present, and future agenda of this organization from it's founder and (up to 1950) Executive Directory Roger Baldwin. Reflecting on his early years as the ACLU's executive director, Baldwin candidly revealed his original motives and objectives:
I am for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately, for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek social ownership of property, the abolition of the properties class, and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal. It all sums up into one single purpose -- the abolition of dog-eat-dog under which we live. I don't regret being part of the communist tactic. I knew what I was doing. I was not an innocent liberal. I wanted what the communists wanted and I traveled the United Front road to get it.
But how could this happen? How would real Americans ever let such obvious evil to take root? Well, not so obvious - again, in Baldwin's own words, his advice in 1917 to Louis Lochner of the socialist People's Council in Minnesota:
Do steer away from making it look like a Socialist enterprise...We want also to look like patriots in everything we do. We want to get a good lot of flags, talk a good deal about the Constitution and what our forefathers wanted to make of this country, and to show that we are really the folks that really stand for the spirit of our institutions.
Knowing the facts dilutes claims that a socialist agenda and communism are (supposedly) different. The ACLU doesn't see it that way - it is their goal. Check what Marxists believe for yourself.
