It was Tuesday, May 29:

The SLUGS (Socialists-Liberal-lying Unmoral Greedy Suckers) are having a hay-day with the Haditha incident, or as they now have labeled it - Slaughter in Haditha. Yes, there might have been a few soldiers making the wrong decisions after a popular Hispanic Marine was senselessly murdered by a terrorist IED.. Anywhere there are humans there will eventually be error.

The account this post started with - I forgot to give the year. It was the year 1453 when the armies of the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II entered Constantinople, breaking through the defenses of a vastly outnumbered and indomitably courageous Byzantine force. Historian Steven Runciman notes what happened next:

the Muslim soldiers "slew everyone that they met in the streets, men, women, and children without discrimination. The blood ran in rivers down the steep streets from the heights of Petra toward the Golden Horn. But soon the lust for slaughter was assuaged. The soldiers realized that captives and precious objects would bring them greater profit." (The Fall of Constantinople 1453, Cambridge University Press, 1965, p. 145.)

It's routine now - the SLUGS delight any scrap of negative news from Iraq that would stain the USA and promote their agenda. While the SLUGS turn a sad killing of about 20 (possibly) innocent people into a global concern, they have no problem with the totals from just last month nor the totals for just 2006 of innocent women, children, others murdered - not just by a few soldiers, but by command from clerics - their leaders:

YTD Murdered: 4,767, YTD Injured: 6,663

Where were the SLUGS when Islamists kidnapped and murdered that 80 year old man in Pakistan? Where were the SLUGS when 20 men were murdered in Yusuflya, Iraq by Islamic murderers - after being bound and tortured? American forces try to help, but increasingly they are busy answering allegations stirred up by the SLUGS.

Anything SLUGS can use against American, they will. After all, they are SLUGS - a low life form.
