    How Pathetic

Last year I posted all about how the only person I recognized as a hero for equal rights was Rosa Parks, not Martin Luther King. Rosa Parks was not a celebrity, but an individual simply wanting the rights promised to her by the US Constitution. I do not recognize Martin Luther King as anything but an activist for socialism.

So how I was (sort of) surprised when John McCain, appearing to be almost in tears before an executioner, wallowed how sorry he was that he voted against a national holiday for MLK. What a wimp, what a pathetic sight - apologizing simply so he wouldn't lose any black votes.

There are so many great black men and women that a holiday could have been named for - any number of black candidates representing the great spirit of achievement, hard work, and high standards. But MLK had received such publicity and, after being shot, pretty much became a martyr. To make MLK an official holiday - the first to recognize a socialist - started with the effort of Democrat (union puppet) John Conyers - founded as a holiday promoted by labor unions in contract negotiations. MLK was not in Memphis to preach any gospel - he was there to give publicity in support of the AFSCME Local 1733 - a socialist union.

By this time no politician would dare go against the idea because to do so would heave endless accusations of racism upon their heads. Decades later Hispanics would demand their own socialist icon day - Cesar Chavez - and now we have a second socialist recognized - and endless streets and schools now named after these two socialists. Now America has two socialists running for Democratic president - one openly admitting she is, the other has already put in writing his socialist agenda based in racial hate and attention to special interest groups (to be covered next week).
You can't talk about solving the economic problem of the Negro without talking about billions of dollars. You can't talk about ending the slums without first saying profit must be taken out of slums. You're really tampering and getting on dangerous ground because you are messing with folk then. You are messing with captains of industry… Now this means that we are treading in difficult water, because it really means that we are saying that something is wrong… with capitalism… There must be a better distribution of wealth and maybe America must move toward a democratic socialism.
    - Martin Luther King, November 1966

Ok, I need a Democrat to help me with this next item. We've all heard how the wealthy don't pay taxes - a lie Democrats love to use when reversing tax cuts and raising taxes and fees. But then we see the Clintons' made over $109 million over 7 years - not exactly poor, yet paid more than $33 million in taxes. Now if the rich don't pay taxes then why did the Clintons pay almost 33% of their income in taxes?

    I Have A Dream - Doesn't Include MLK

To me, Martin Luther King represents the start of the downfall of America. He was a socialist activist that started a perverse turn to a weakened America. He used race in an attempt to manipulate government from a departure of "all men created equally" to "special interest groups are a priority" and advocate for empowering oppressive unions that have done more to destroy the industrial greatness of America than any other force.

For the record when it comes to racial equality - there is one person that is the heroine to me - Rosa Parks. Just an ordinary citizen, not surrounded by socialist mobs, not trying to empower any special interest group, that simply stood her ground for what was constitutionally hers. To me there should have been a Rosa Parks day, not an MLK day.

So what's this turned into aside from every mid and large city forced to have a street name change? It is a time for Democrats to pretend to appear as if they care about blacks and other minority races. For the rich Democrats, they get to speak at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta and tell all the black folk how bad America is and how they should put their trust in Democrats and big government.

Let's look at Barack Obama's words at the church:(1/2 black) Obama:
For most of this country's history, we in the African-American community have been at the receiving end of man's inhumanity to man. And all of us understand intimately the insidious role that race still sometimes plays - on the job, in the schools, in our health care system, and in our criminal justice system.
    The truth:
    • Democrats continue to attach "African" to blacks, even though generations have passed for many and any ties to Africa really don't matter. I would say most blacks in American were born here - and are American by birth. Yet, this is the way Democrats continue to trick blacks into thinking they are not really part of America - just keep calling them "African" and get the blacks to call themselves "African".
    • Republicans have put more blacks into higher positions of government than Democrats.
    • Democrats continue to force blacks to stay in the failed government school system
    • Republicans continue to try and give choice via school vouchers but Democrats continue to oppose blacks from leaving the failed government school system.
    • Being Democrat means saying NO to giving blacks a choice to go to a private school.
    • Democrats like Obama think blacks are stupid and will use them as a vehicle to promote the special interest of even perverse sexual groups. Democrat Obama's words in the "MLK church" (link above):
We have scorned our gay brothers and sisters instead of embracing them.
WTF? Unreal huh? Democrat Obama using a black church to advance the special interests of homosexuals and other "gay" oddities - telling the congregation if they don't embrace the homosexual special interest group then they are guilty of something bad. Typical manipulative Democrat in action - motivation by guilt.

I could go on and on with the reality of how Democrats have exploited the black community, how they have suppressed the growth and opportunities for blacks, but space constrains me.

    I have a dream -
    • that blacks are too smart to be taken advantage of by Democrats anymore
    • that blacks are tired of Democrats that just exploit them
    • that blacks are tired of being oppressed by a growing government that tells them they don't need to go after their dreams because big government will take care of them
    • that blacks are tired of no education choices for their children other than the failed public school system Democrats tell them are good enough
    • that blacks are tired of competing for jobs with the illegal aliens Democrats like Barack Obama and Ted Kennedy tell them they should embrace
    • that blacks are tired of watching generations go by trusting Democrats for change only to see Democrat politicians getting richer
    • that blacks are tired of living in housing projects the Democrats give them and want to live in their own homes
    • that blacks are tired of Democrats branding them as some lower-level of human that needs special treatment and consideration to get anywhere in life
    • that blacks are tired of being told they are just Africans that should stay in housing projects and be happy with a Democrat-sponsored minimum wage - they want to be Americans with the full constitutional rights promised by the Constitution
Americans that want choice, want freedom, want peace, want to live in a secure country, want education - not indoctrination, want opportunity --- will dump the status quo and vote for Ron Paul. It's all about following the Constitution and getting back to "all men are created equal".

Dear Dr. Martin Luther King: 1 of 2

This Monday America will remember you - you have your own day. I'm sad to report your vision has been squelched by liberals in our country - Democrats never did understand the deeper meaning of your words.

Remember in your letter from the Birmingham Jail in 1963 - as well as countless other times - you would use the name of Jesus Christ? You would call on his name, pray in the name of Jesus, and use the Bible in many of your speeches and sermons. Well I am sad to report to you Democrats have been very active since your death in stripping away Christianity from public view. Democrats have infested our legal system to rule against even using the name of Jesus. Take for example the U.S. Navy chaplain who just recently prayed in Jesus name - FIRED! In the present day of liberalism you would not be able to speak of Jesus in your speeches on public property. Democrats have turned against you Dr. King.

You said in your famous I Have a Dream speech: I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I'm sad to report that Democrats have long since taken the stand that character doesn't matter. Achievement doesn't matter. Since your death Democrats have ruled that race should be used to judge. That people of one race should get preferential treatment over other races. They call their anti-King antics by an innocent sounding name - "Affirmative Action". Democrats try to make races other than white appear to be dumb - needing extra help - when you and I know that is not true. Democrats have turned against you Dr. King.

Also from your I Have a Dream speech you said: I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal". Again, I'm sad to report to you that Democrats have shown favor to special interest groups. Homosexuals are convincing liberal judges to change the very meaning of the holy sacrament of marriage. Muslims are coercing governments to bow down to their demands and even punish non-Muslims. Anti-Christians are trying to strip the Christianity that you held so dear - and are influencing huge changes in our society. Democrats have been empowering unions - which then use socialistic tactics in attempts to manipulate and control. Democrats have turned against you Dr. King.

Democrats may have marched with you Dr. King, but they never believed in you.
