    That's a No No!

eBay is in the business of peoples freedom - freedom to sell and bid for all sorts of items. Not everywhere has the freedoms that Americans enjoy. eBay Executive Avnish Bajaj knows this all too well. Mr. Bajaj was arrested in India because he is the CEO of www.Baazee.com, eBay's online auction portal in India. Not that Mr. Bajaj did anything wrong himself, but it seems that someone posted a pornographic video DVD on their auction site. You can read about it here.

The whole incident turned into a big scandal. The person that had posted the video for sale was arrested and the two students, the stars in the flick, were subsequently expelled from their school.

I like the policy in the USA - aside from illegal stuff like child porn and violent acts (like murder and real rape) the policy is pretty much: If you don't like it then don't look at it! India is not alone in governments dictating to their people what they can and can not see or listen to. It's sad really - in this day and age - a relative few imposing their morality upon the masses with strict retribution for those that don't comply. I wonder if this little blog is banned anywhere?
