    Some Wednesday Wonderings

Muhammad Yousef Al-Mlaifi, director of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Endowment's research center, published an article titled "The Terrorist Katrina is One of the Soldiers of Allah, But Not an Adherent of Al-Qaeda":
As I watched the horrible sights of this wondrous storm, I was reminded of the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah [in the compilations] of Al-Bukhari and Abu Daoud. The Hadith says: 'The wind is of the wind of Allah, it comes from mercy or for the sake of torment. When you see it, do not curse it, [but rather] ask Allah for the good that is in it, and ask Allah for shelter from its evil.
So by Al-Mlaifi's superstitious "logic" I guess he would conclude that the massive death toll in Southern Asia, killing over 24,000 predominately Muslim people is the message from the Judeao-Christian God telling Muslims to back off?

This isn't exactly the grand plan of Islam, which is we are all going be converted to Islam or die (be killed). Check out the Council on American-Islamic Relations and its founder, Omar Ahmad. Omar, speaking to a packed crowd at the Flamingo Palace banquet hall on Peralta Blvd. said:
Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.
You can read it in the San Ramon Valley Herald, July 4, 1998 covered by staff writer Lisa Gardiner. The scary thing is this Islamic organization, along with the ACLU, is chipping away our long time heritage of a Christian nation. Chip, chip, chip. For the record Islamic organizations urged Muslim voters (legal and illegal) in the USA to vote for Kerry. Just check the CAIR website under the link Political Empowerment. They knew Kerry would stop the fight against Islamic terrorists.

I'd bet that Louis Freeh would be willing to take a lie detector test. Do you think Billy or Hillary Clinton would? (Don't hold your breath on that ever happening). BTW, that post of mine yesterday - the Saudi's have backup up the account of Louis Freeh:
According to two sources close to former Saudi ambassador Prince Bandar bin Sultan, ex-president Bill Clinton was on the verge of tears over legal woes brought on by the Monica Lewinsky scandal during a Sept. 1998 meeting with Crown Prince Adbullah - and spent almost no time discussing the Khobar Towers bombing case.
The Saudi account backs claims by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, who told CBS's "60 Minutes" last night that Clinton failed to press Abdullah during the meeting for cooperation in the Khobar case.

How much you wanna bet CBS won't be covering that side of the story?
The full text of that letter I mentioned in my al-Zawahiri post can be read at the Office of the Directory of National Intelligence. It's in Windows doc format and is full of fluffy BS. Enjoy!
