    A Merry Christmas - Odd Lovers

    Of all the foolishness of liberals perhaps the one that I find most revolting is the love affair liberals have with criminals. They seem to be mesmerized with murderers, kidnappers, rapists, terrorists, and the more violent the criminal, the more they want to associate and protect the criminal. No regard to victims, no regard to any social impact - it's like they don't care about the good people.

    The most recent example is Stanley Williams, co-founder of the violent Crips gang that brutally murdered four people back in 1979. The misconception was after he went to prison he was no longer a leader in the Crips organization - not true. Prisons, especially large prisons, have the same gangs that roam our streets. Up until his execution he was still allowed to make phone calls and have visitors. He was still able to control and give orders. The good people prevailed over all the lawyering and attention this scumbag received. The only sad part of his life is that it took so long for justice to be served.

    Liberal celebrities were the most outspoken on this murderer's behalf. They distort and lie about this violent murderer. They have met with this killer, yet not with the victims. They admit this murderer is their friend, a real nice guy - yet they don't know the names of his victims. They feel a kinship toward the gangster yet know nothing about the 8 children left without parents because of their friend.
    Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg and Bianca Jagger are among the Hollywood elites who took up Williams' cause, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson stood outside San Quentin this morning with singer Joan Baez and actor Mike Farrell to protest the execution.
    From the Google Group called Death Penalty Focus this sub-list of supporters for this murderer:
    • Nobel laureates: Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Mairead Corrigan Maguire, Betty Williams, Jody Williams;
    • Celebrities: Jason Alexander, Laurence Fishburne, Danny Glover, Anjelica Huston, Bonnie Raitt, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Noah Wyle;
    • Notables: Mario Cuomo, Julian Bond, Reps. Jim McDermott, Jim McGovern, George Miller, and Sen. Tom Harkin, Rev. Jesse Jackson.
    They boast he was a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, yet anyone can be with just a letter of recommendation from someone in any government or even just a university professor. Even Hitler was a Nobel Peace Prize nominee in the 30's - so what?

    They claim he had turned his life around, yet choose to stick by his Crips oath of secrecy for the actions of other members; choosing to protect his gangster buddies and not become, in his words, a snitch. He could have saved many lives over the 24 years he spent in prison but he chose not to. In my mind he was nothing less than a mass murderer.

    The good people want killers removed permanently. Liberals want to embrace them, nurture them, and protect them. Perhaps that explains their ceaseless efforts to protect murdering terrorists as well - choosing to attack the forces that are trying to rid the world of these evil people. Odd lovers indeed.
