Is Poverty Growing In The USA?

First - I was going to post about the immature whining of Oklahoma President David Boren, crying to the Big 12 Conference commissioners - even demanding the game they lost be voided from the record books. What a LOOSER! Bad calls happen to all teams and coaches will wave their arms in anger then the game goes on. Not with Oklahoma - land of cow chips and whiners - at least that is what David Boren makes OK look like. Just know this - OK had a chance to win the game in the last 2 seconds with (what should have been) an easy field goal, but they couldn't get it up. A better team, the University of Oregon Ducks, blocked their ball!
So if you listen to Republicans you hear how good the economy is. If you listen to Democrats the economy is awful and poverty is on the rise, Bush is to blame, etc. Knowing how Democrats inherently lie, I did some checking. Then I found hard numbers from the PEW Hispanic Center (keeping in mind the 12-15 MILLION illegal Mexicans in our country - or more):
    • Hispanics account for three-fourths of the increase in poverty in the USA
Oh gee, a little fact Democrats failed to mention as they just lumped everyone into their poverty count! More:
    • Hispanics are three times more likely than non-Hispanics to receive welfare
    • Hispanic teen birth rate is twice the national rate of all teens (great - sit around, eat tacos, pump out more kids for taxpayers to raise)
    • Hispanic men are nine times more likely than white men to beat their partners (our state is spending more and more on spousal abuse programs - wonder why?)
    • Hispanics are three times more likely than whites to die of AIDS
    • Hispanics are two times more likely to be incarcerated than non-Hispanics (no, not a racist thing - they just break the law more)
    • Hispanics are 3.8 times more likely to be in prison for murder than non-Hispanics
    • Hispanic youth are 19 times more likely to be in gangs (there are hundreds in So.Cal. alone!)
    • Fifty-five percent of Mexican-Americans consider themselves to be Mexican first
Those are just a couple of FACTS from the PEW Hispanic Center - so if you have a problem with the facts take it up with them, not me. The drain on society, on the good people of American, is horrendous!

Liberals: STOP lying and deceiving the American people!
