Better Days Gone By - CIA

The picture above is a satellite view of the CIA headquarters in Langley, VA. It's nothing secret, anyone with an internet connection can see the same pictures. If you want to practice image interpretation 101 you can zoom in on the original image and figure out the time the picture was taken. Check the state of the fauna, the number of vehicles in the parking areas, the shadow angles, etc.

There was a time when the CIA had missions to accomplish, and their goal was a successful mission. People didn't know much about the CIA, and that helped accomplish their goal.

Now, because of the ignorance and pompous attitude of liberals - mostly Democrats - the mission of the CIA has changed from one of goal-oriented to that of methods-oriented. Under the scrutiny of eager politicians and individuals and groups that could care less about American, the CIA must now worry about the over-the-shoulder traitor that finds betrayal the primary objective over national security.

Whether these traitors want to write a book (like Tim Weiner's Legacy of Ashes) or get some publicity or simply don't like the CIA and the intended mission, these have weakened a great agency and weakened our nation.

The average person doesn't need to know how something is done - just be happy someone is doing it and it gets accomplished. How would you like to have someone over your shoulder where you work, constantly criticizing what you do (or don't), how you did it, when you did it, and where you did it?

It's like people that eat their triple bacon cheese burger. Do they question how the animals were slaughtered? Do they want to see the animals yelling and crying as they're turned upside down and beheaded, blood gushing out into a collection pit? No, they are happy just to munch away - they don't want to know the details.

Intelligence gathering should be the same.
