FRED THOMPSON CALLS IT QUITS!

Earlier I predicted Fred Thompson would throw in the towel sometime this week. My prediction has become fact.

Part 2 of my prediction is Fred Thompson's endorsement of liberal John McCain.

Next to quit: Rudy Giuliani.

Politicians Will Destroy America

Ok, so 15 out of the 19 hijackers of 9/11 were Saudis - in other words, most all of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. Today it was announced that President Bush has notified the Democrat-controlled Congress of their intent to sell $20 Billion in weapons, including precision-guided bombs, to the Saudis. We have total idiots in government, on both sides of the isle.

America is once again forcing the game in Muslim-ville, trying to empower the majority of Sunni Muslims in Saudi to stand up against the predominately Shiite Muslims of Iran. You know the story - both Republicans and Democrats are wasting American lives and resources in Iraq to empower the Sunni Muslims in that country. Like everything else the US government interferes with, this too will come back to haunt us.

America is having some serious financial problems. Last week I watched the Republican debate held in Myrtle Beach. Every candidate, except one, outright refused to say the USA was in any kind of recession. Let's review some stupidity (all just identified with Reagan without any original thoughts - except for Ron Paul):

Huckabee: He hopes we're not headed for a recession (he doesn't know). If we do go into a recession he blames oil prices and sub-prime mortgages.

Giuliani: He doesn't know if we are or not and we need the way of Ronald Reagan back in control. In other words, he had no original ideas.

McCain: Didn't know if we were in a recession or not and proudly declared "I'm proud to have been a member of the Reagan revolution, a foot soldier" and proceeded to reference Reagan in various ways.

Thompson: Made sure everyone knew Giuliani's plan based on Reaganomics was the same as his plan. He didn't state any solution, just stated current facts. Not a single vision of less government regulations.

Ron Paul: The only one with guts to say "I believe we're in a recession" was the statement from Ron Paul.

I think it's going to get a lot worse if we continue to do the wrong things that we've done in the past, that it's going to be delayed, just as what happened in the Depression... But you have to understand that over-stimulation in an economy by artificially low interest rates by the Federal Reserve is the source of the recession...

Dr. Paul was the only one with intelligent answers, didn't use Reagan as an answer, and knew the problems and what would need to be the solutions.

I elect Huckabee as the most dangerous presidential candidate. This crazed liberal ex-minister wants to show the gates of hell to anyone that dares threaten our war ships even if we are skimming the borders of countries where we shouldn't be (referring initially to the Iran speedboat incident).

Ron Paul's intelligence overruled the ignorance and war mongering of Huckabee when he said:

They could take care of those speedboats in about five seconds. And here we're ready to start World War III over this?

And now, guess what, today, the Navy commander of the Fifth Fleet was on ABC and announced that, you know, that voice might not have come from those vessels. So what does that mean?Was there a rush to judgment on this, ready to go to war?

And you know there are people in this administration and in Washington, D.C., that are looking for the chance.They were so disappointed with the national estimate on intelligence. And they were disappointed that there's no attempt to build weapons in Iran since 2003.

Primary Cards

UPDATE: Bill Richardson drops out of the running (and no one cares)!

All but one of the candidates is playing various cards in their attempts to receive a higher percentage of votes in the primaries. The cards played can change too, depending on the audience. Let's check some of the latest cards from the deck of deception:

Compassion Card: Hilary played this one well (sniff sniff), and gave her that nudge she needed over Obama in NH.

Sexist Card: Hilary again scored with this one when her entourage planted a male that called out "iron my shirt" in a staged sexist verbal attack.

No Voice Card: Barack Obama continues to score with this one, claiming there are millions of voters that are not heard because of rich people, because of mean businesses, because of whatever. He doesn't mention his party is greatly responsible for squashing the will of voters in most every state - voters that vote for a referendum or proposition only to have it struck down by some liberal judge or state Democratic legislators.

FYI - Self proclaimed prophet Louis Farrakhan, Hi Profit of the Nation of Islam, has proclaimed that if neither Hilary or his soul brother Barack Obama get into the White House it will prove sexism and racism is rampant in America. I didn't know that being just 50% black meant yo a bro!

Union Card: All the Democrats play this card, some better than others. It's a card not played by Republicans since it is well known Democrats sold out the American people for special interest unions. The Democrat Congress has gutted the union watchdog of the Office of Labor Management, further making it difficult to investigate illegal union practices and corrupt union bosses. Today big Nevada service union endorsed Barack Obama. More union endorsements from mobland will follow - bet on it.

Paradise Card: In his NH defeat, John Edwards said there are lots of other states left with millions of people that want universal health care, no financial worries, government will take care of everyone, and universal dental, etc. (sounds more like what liberals have turned prisons into. He neglected to give any details how his paradise would be funded.

9/11 Card: About the only thing Rudy Giuliani has going for him yet he's finding that card just isn't one that will do much of anything for Americans, and the voters know it. Drop out and save your tiny followers their money Rudy.

Hollywood Card: Fred Thompson, close friend of John McCain, is finding acting as if he were a conservative isn' t the same as (poor) acting on Law & Order. Fred didn't think NH was worth his attention so he dumped NH and the voters in NH returned the favor. Drop out and save your tiny followers their money Fred.

Vietnam POW Card: Johnny McCain loves this card. I mean really, you pull this card and who dare would say anything against it? As the fight gets tougher McCain's liberal voting record will override this old card.

Looser Card: Aside from Giuliani and Thompson there is Bill Richardson and Dennis Kucinich that need to stop deceiving their tiny followers and save their money by dropping out before they embarrass themselves even more.

Card free: Only Ron Paul carries his message without the use for cards. Ron Paul has been consistent, doesn't morph to the crowd, and has his voting record to back what he stands for.

Fox News Dumps "Fair and Balanced"

My respect for Fox News continues to diminish, and their unfair and unbalanced decision to ban Ron Paul from yesterday's Republican NH primary debate shows how manipulative they have become.

Add to this Fox News has deliberately modified news stories and censored out Ron Paul's name is, to me, no different from the antics or Dan Rather. At least with Mr. Rather the deception and lies were confined to one or two people, but with Fox News, it appears as if it is company policy to be unfair, to lie, to be unbalanced, and to manipulate.

From his first radio ad:

Who is Ron Paul, the Republican candidate for president? Ron Paul served his country as a flight surgeon after the Cuban missile crisis. As a congressman for almost 2 decades, Ron Paul knows our Constitution is there to protect our freedom and limited government. He has never voted for a tax increase or an unbalanced budget.

His record clearly shows he will cut taxes and stop runaway spending. People who know him call him the taxpayer's best friend.

By the way, Fred Thompson said if he finished poorly in Iowa Caucuses, he would drop out of the presidential race and throw his support behind John McCain. How could Fred Thompson say he's so conservative if his choice for support is THE MOST liberal RINO - John McCain?

Think you Thompson fans better think again! DUH!

NOTE: For those that have a problem accepting the link source consider this FACT - Thompson and McCain are old buddies. Thompson endorsed McCain in the presidential primaries back in 2000 and Thompson was his national co-chairman. McCain was as liberal back then as he is now, and Thompson threw his full support to McCain.

Impressed With Fred Thompson

So why would I be impressed with a Presidential candidate that didn't take part in the GOP debates in New Hampshire? Because he didn't take part in the GOP debates in New Hampshire.

There just seems to be a big hole of credibility from both Republicans and Democrats when all but Fred are going around to, what amounts to, beauty pageants. They're all decked out in their outfits, they've had their makeup and hair primed, they've practiced their stance and gestures, and they've practice how to look at the audience and cameras. Thank goodness the bathing suit part was left out.

I believe a President has to stand alone with his/her own convictions, be a driver to get things done, and believe in him/her self - not any polls and certainly not be wishy-washy like a reed in the wind to every media story that pops up.

One of the questions in NH to the pageant participants was about the absence of Fred Thompson. Their answers simply revealed their immaturity to even be considered for a Presidential nomination.

"Maybe Senator Thompson will be known as the no-show for the presidential debates," former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said.

"Maybe we're up past his bedtime," joked Arizona Sen. John McCain. (At 65, Thompson is actually six years younger).

"He's done a pretty good job of playing my part on Law & Order," said the former prosecutor. "I personally prefer the real thing" said Rudy Giuliani.

Democrats have used this pageant approach to cater to their special interest groups like homosexuals and unions - being put on the line to commit whatever to these groups.

I don't know enough about Mr. Thompson but so far I like his approach, and God knows the status quo approach just isn't do'n it.

I liked the principles section of his website, and how he's very outspoken against all the excessive federal laws:
