In Oregon's November 4 general election one of the ballot measures to vote on will be to tie teacher's pay to their job performance.
How novel - you are paid more for doing a better job, while if you do a poor job you will get paid less. Considering this is directly tied to a child's education - poor teacher = poor student; good teacher = better student - the consequences fall upon the child.
Who would be against rewarding higher performing teachers?
1 - The teacher's union - they're priority is union workers, not the student. Their current pay is based on seniority, so a very poor teacher with 5 years experience would be paid the same as a high-performing great teacher. This short changes both the better teachers and the students - yet is the way unions operate;
2 - Liberals and all "Progressives" - this category falls mainly in the party of Democrats but would include some Republicans - all committed to unions and union survival. The educational excellence of the child is a bottom priority.
The choice is rather simple - you favor the best for the education of Oregon's children attending government schools or you favor unions.
Even if this passes it will still need to get by the liberal union-supporting judges in Oregon that I think would invalidate the will of the people (as they have done in the past) in favor of unions. Yes, Oregon has their share of judges on the take and owned by union bosses.
We will see if I'm right, and we will see who those judges are!

In Obama's Amerika - 3 of 5
What does President Obama have planned for our nation? I have found a questionnaire given this year by the NAACP to both Democratic candidates - the NAACP is a racist group that only supports Democrats and only Democrats danced to their demands.
NAACP:
Mr. Obama has fears, but only because there would be a mass-exodus from the failed government indoctrination monopoly (public school system). Mr. Obama's concern is not about giving children the same opportunity that private school children have, but for protecting the school unions that have infested the government schools.
Government has a hideous monopoly on the brains of the future of America, and this government indoctrination, union infested, failed system continues to fail year after year in producing students that excel in competitive skills - even with the mega-billions that continued to be pumped into the machine.
Mr. Obama fears the success of private schools, of charter schools, of home schooling. Mr. Obama is smart, and he knows once parents of poor children realize they have a choice for the better, and they choose other than the government machine, that mass-exodus will happen - and it will happen fast.
Mr. Obama knows once that exodus happens the huge teacher's union will weaken - greatly. Mr. Obama knows if there is a competitive option for parents the choice will be made that will offer the best for their children - and that leaves the union infested monopoly out.
Welcome to the perverted kountry of President Obama - an Amerika where children of the poor and needy are forced into government schools infested with teachers that don't care, academic programs that are inferior, challenges are non-existent, illegal aliens dilute a student's progress and steal resources, and strip parents of the choice that should be their right.

Slap Those Stupid Parents
The socialists continue their obnoxious drive to replace the desires of parents with those of socialistic government rule. Case in point is Eugene Oregon's George Russell, a black male school district superintendent for Eugene.
I've preached this before - socialists take away choices and freedoms in order to advance their socialist agenda. In the Register Guard today this socialist gives some hints of his big plans to change the public school system in Eugene, and slap the faces of parents at the same time.
The population of Eugene is growing, not shrinking, yet this socialist clown wants to close schools. In doing so, his plan is to shove forced busing onto communities

Obviously Mr. Russell thinks he knows best, not parents. Slap slap you stupid parent. Parents need to group together and kick these socialist assholes out of their community and out of our state.

As the children of Oregon are becoming (in the eyes of the socialist school board) good globalites the children in India and Asian countries are passing them in academic skills, especially in math and science, thus rendering stupid products of socialism into lower skilled, lower paying jobs. One reason high-tech jobs are booming in India and not Oregon.
And you still think the liberal/socialist agenda is good for communities? For parents? For students?

Public schools must return to control of communities - not liberal activists. I Know
The attempted bombings in London - two known explosive vehicles - would have been extremely deadly to the innocent people should they have exploded.
I know this attempt at mass murder was by Muslims. I know the profile of Muslims, what their goals are, and the barbarism they employ. I know their ultimate goals of destroying all non-believers, or at the least - putting us infidels in a place of paying homage to them - with our $$$. Remember that when our soldiers die while fighting for the Muslim nation of Iraq.
The big mistake that England (and the USA) made was allowing so many Muslims to immigrate to their country. If a country wishes to improve their odds at staying safe they need halt the invasion of Muslims into their sovereignty - lest some day they wake to the sounds of Islamic prayer calls and Sharia law.
The Supreme Court decision about forced integration. I know liberals don't like this - they'd prefer government forcing children around. Liberals prefer little or no choices for parents and children in the public school system. Liberals prefer to ignore equality and put one race above another - I know these things from the history of Liberalism. Liberals don't believe in equality, no matter what lies they tell.
If you believe in racial equality you must practice it as well.
Defeat of the illegal alien legislation? I know that bunch of crap was just that - crap. We have laws right now that are not being enforced, so any more laws about immigration would not be enforced either. They you have racists like Barbara Boxer and Kennedy et. al. all trying to label Americans that want laws obeyed and enforced as "racists".
I know these socialist sluts and the tactics they employ. Their attempts to employ guilt as a motivator fails in the face of truth - that it is all about "legal" vs. "Illegal" - nothing to do with race. To those politicians with no brain, claiming we can't rid the country of at least 15 MILLION illegals, I say vote them out of office and get leaders that can think. Heck, even us common folk know if you enforce identification and stiff penalties on businesses that hire the illegal scum, fire state workers that hand out driver's licenses to illegals or provide handouts to illegals, etc. they will leave on their own.
Besides - Congress already passed legislation for 700-miles of border fence to help reduce the invasion from Mexico. So where is the god damn fence you promised?!
Poland rejected the EU charter on homosexual "rights". Amazing - in this day and age of anything goes, sex with horses, liberal diseases all around - that there is still a country with morals. Amazing... (I'll stop making Polish jokes!)
Congradulations to Salman Rushdie - or should I say Sir Salman Rushdie - for being knighted. Just watch your back since all Muslims hate you and would like to see you dead. I haven't read his book "The Satanic Verses", but judging by the response it must be filled with some real truth about that cult that wants him dead.

The Anti-Equality Progressive
It's 5:00 AM and time for little Betty and Toby to get ready for their 90 minute bus ride across town to their government-mandated school "choice".
It really makes me shake my head when I hear the left (liberals, progressives, slugs, socialists, whatever label they like) proclaim how they promote equality in words, yet in actions they push very hard for non-equality.
On today's docket in the Supreme Court will be this very concept - do we follow the Constitution's All Men are Created Equal or will special interest groups get preferred treatment.
How hypocritical for pro-affirmative action groups to parade around with Fight For Equality banners that would demand one race to have special interests over other races. This is the mindset of the left, and they will come up with all sorts of excuses and non-logical arguments why the Constitution should not be followed.
In the public school system the problem has nothing to do with one neighborhood's school being better than another. The problem with the public school system is the very fact it is controlled by the government. No standards to follow. No minimum requirements to achieve. No criteria for teachers.
A curriculum that has social perversity as it's core and not academic achievement. Such is the realm of government controlled public schools. No wonder the Kennedy's and the Clintons and the other lefts didn't send their children through public school.
Either the Constitution is the law of the land or we succumb to the left's interpretation of what is "right". For me, I choose the Constitution.

Educated USA Workers - Endangered Species
Today I will be getting my new computer delivered to me. Normally, I just buy the parts and assemble the exact system that I want. This year I found I don't have the time and I need some year-end business deductions. I bought an upper-end system from Dell.
My new system is a dying breed - one of the last to be manufactured in the USA. Come early 2007 all of Dell's products will be Made In India - desktops, laptops - everything. This final move will bring the number of Dell employees in India to 20,000.
That's 20,000 jobs NOT in the USA. That's just one company - there are many more doing the same, if not India, then somewhere else.
I shake my head not at the companies but at those responsible for the exodus.
Public schools don't turn out the quality nor quantity of technical labor like other countries do. The government (public) schools system turns out good Subway sandwich or Wal-Mart workers, so not a total loss.
Government pushes its way into business - forcing a business to tweak their budgets the way government wishes - both federal and state governments are guilty.
Unions extort business into unreasonable agreements - wages that don't match skill levels, total health coverage (not even a deductible) - so many controls that destroy businesses and make them loss their competitiveness.
Courts have forced companies to pay incredible premiums for liability insurance because the USA is a suit-happy nation (Conservatives have tried many times to cap frivolous law suites but liberals manage to keep them around).
Those that protest for more jobs in the USA are the very people that are driving jobs out of the USA. This trend has been going on in the past, is going on in the present, and will continue to go on in the future.
The most important change needed is a total change in the public education system, but as long as Democrats control anything that will never happen.
Your children will probably be living with you a bit longer - unless Subway or Wal-Mart opens a new store near you.
