Register Guard + Mayor Kitty Piercy = Conspiracy

Instigator 1: Mayor Kitty Piercy and her Progressive entourage are the ruling party in Eugene with Mayor Piercy coming up for reelection.

Instigator 2: The Register Guard is a liberal controlled newspaper with some of the worst distorting writers (I strain to use that term as it might offend good writers) I've even read in a paper.

Situation: Growing homeless population.

Past - A stranger phones in: A few months ago Progressive Kitty was on an AM talk show on our local radio trying to push her downtown "revitalization" scheme which was coming up for a vote (was defeated - too many smart taxpayers here). A male caller asked Kitty-poo about the homeless scum downtown and said, to the point, no revitalization could take place unless the scum was removed from the city. Kitty-poo said her big plan was once mega-millions were spent on new everything so many of the citizens of Eugene would flock downtown to spend their money that it would push the homeless scum out.

Back to Instigator 2: Register Guard, a supporter of Kitty-poo, starts publishing the growing problem of homeless scum vandalism, attacks, using store fronts as toilets, etc. - even devotes a front page on this.

The kicker: As if orchestrated by Kitty-poo (I'm sure it was) and her Progressive entourage, the Register Guard gives the finale - Mayor Kitty Piercy and her Progressive entourage says the increasing homeless scum population is the fault of the 95% good citizens of Eugene so her new solution is to raise property taxes to provide citizen subsidized housing. So the RG sets the stage (shows the threat) then reveals Kitty-poo's grand plan.

Basic logic test: Do you get rid of rats by throwing cheese down for them?

Failure: Mayor Kitty Piercy and her Progressive entourage's reign in Eugene have caused this problem to grow - and grow - and grow. Time for a regime change - a total regime change with people that have a focus on the 95% of the population not the growing scum that just keep coming for Mayor Kitty Piercy and her Progressive entourage's handouts.

Jobs: In the same paper that front-pages the "need" for more taxes to "help" the freeloaders is a classified section with many - lots - of jobs requiring no skills. Yet I see mostly younger people on corners - not working by choice - and the idiot people that keep handing them money! You can't help people that just want everything given to them.

Get clean: Homeless scum often use the public library rest rooms to strip and bath - while little children pass in and out. This scummy element needs to be kept out of the library where families and children on their own go. In N. Calif. the town we lived in had a nice large library and only people with valid library cards could enter - and that's the way it should be.

Better bath: If homeless wish to bath let them do so in the private bathrooms of Mayor Kitty Piercy and her Progressive entourage at City Hall - not where the children of Eugene go.

Simple solutions Kitty-poo will never consider:

• If they are illegally in the country hold them for INS
• If they are minors from out of state then ship them back to their parents on a one-way ticket
• If they are minors instate hold them for their parents and give their parents the bill - take them to court to recover costs for caring for their kids
• If they are capable of skill-less work then hook them up with an employer
• If they solicit for money on the streets arrest them for conducting a business without a business license

Oregon's Real Jeff Merkley

Ok, so I've seen the commercials from Gordon Smith and his claims against Jeff Merkley, then I've seen the Merkley commercials about Gordon Smith. The Smith ads just spew out facts and figures while the Merkley ads are based on getting an emotional response with phrases like "sides with Bush…" and "sides with big oil…" - you know the hate talk.

So I decided to check for myself on the voting record of Jeff Merkley (JM) to find out if his voting pattern would be one that would be counter-productive to the citizens of Oregon. Here's a little of what I found from the Project Vote Smart site - full of boring facts and short on emotional stuff:

HB = House Bill, SB = Senate Bill

• JM voted to increase the Tobacco Tax - HB 2967
• JM voted to increase Property Taxes - SB 1106
• JM voted to lower the age children are forced into government schools - SB 392
• JM voted against Oregon offshore drilling taking away possible billions of $$$ in revenue for the State of Oregon and keeping the USA from becoming more energy self sufficient - SB 790
• JM voted for government to dictate what food items can and cannot be sold (eaten) at public schools - HB 2650
• JM voted in favor of government intrusion into the mortgage industry - HB 3603
• JM voted in favor to use taxpayer's money to fund private stem cell research - HB 2801
• JM voted in favor of government intrusion into the Payday loan industry - HB 2203
  

How does Jeff Merkley rate with special interest groups?

Abortion: He's totally in favor of killing babies before they are born (so much for his claim about caring for children huh?). He's supported the interests of Planned Parenthood (what a joke) and NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon. Sort of contradictory to his 100% rating with the "Oregon Stand for Children" socialist front.

Taxes and spending: The Taxpayer Association of Oregon gives Jeff Merkley a 0% rating - which means he is a danger to taxpayers - you and me no matter what your political party!

Business (where jobs are): The Oregon National Federation of Independent Businesses gave Jeff Merkley a rating of 22% - pretty darn close to anti-business as you can get - translation: Jeff Merkley is bad for businesses.

"Civil rights": Jeff Merkley gets a 80% rating by the ACLU of Oregon - so we know he's a card-carrying pimp for the ACLU.

Gun rights: Jeff Merkley thinks only criminals should possess guns and the NRA has, over all Merkley's political career, given him an "F". I mean really - just look at the list and see the majority of Democrats that want you and I to be defenseless!

Illegal aliens: Jeff Merkley doesn't believe in such a term and has been given an 80% favorable rating by the Oregonians for Immigration Reform - one of those liberal trick labels that really is a front to allow amnesty and illegals into Oregon and the USA.

Labor: Jeff Merkley is most definitely a union puppet - bought and paid for by the American Federation of Teachers-Oregon, the Oregon AFL-CIO, and the SEIU Public Employees Union. You can count on Jeff Merkley raising your taxes simply by supporting more powerful union presence throughout the government, education, and public services sectors - and you and I will pay for it.

So facts on his political position are: greater taxes, greater government controls, growing government even bigger that it is, and being a puppet for unions and their extortionist interests - Oregonians can not afford Jeff Merkley!

I know, lots of boring facts huh - and who the hell cares about facts these days?

Hynix Closure - Smart Business Move

Oregon Democrat politicians were stunned when Hynix announced they are shutting their plant in Eugene, Oregon. Obviously they don't read my blog because if they did they would have known this closure was inevitable.

On the eve of yet another rise in the Federal minimum wage the Hynix closure means the end of employment for 1,113 workers. Let's drop the emotion and just check some facts -

Semiconductors are in huge demand yet this business sector is extremely competitive and every tiny profit percent can mean life or death. Hynix could have upgraded their only US facility but serious considerations had to be made:

Oregon's Democrat government forces their company to pay a minimum wage higher than the national average, and with a Democrat-controlled Congress this government intervention mandating what unskilled employees must be paid causes businesses to suffer and their profit margins to shrink

Oregon is not a business-friendly state nor is the city of Eugene. Continued forced mandates and a growing big government (even at the local level) intrudes into the business activities that should not be controlled and manipulated by business-ignorant Democrat politicians

Oregon Democrats are money hungry careless fools that have no end to their tax-and-spend frenzy. Hynix was paying $4.47 million in taxes each year - and that was just to the city of Eugene - even more to the State of Oregon. In the local liberal paper Eugene's Liberal Democrat Mayer Kitty Piercy said that they plan to raise taxes on Eugene property owners to make up the tax loss from Hynix. Just like a Democrat - don't change your spending habits - just raise taxes on everyone. Even if you rent your landlord will pass this cost on to you!

I predicted various times in my posts that companies would leave the USA because of growing government interference and Hynix isn't the first and it won't be the last. Those that are American companies will eventually sell to foreign companies that will shift operations out of the USA. As Democrats continue to strip the freedom from companies just listen to that sucking sound grow - jobs and wealth sucked out of America.

In a free society, employers should have the right to hire and fire workers and to pay them wages that are mutually agreed upon, and workers should have the right to freely compete for jobs and, thus, to accept employment at mutually beneficial wage rates.

A worker's minimum acceptable hourly wage, of course, will depend on his or her next best alternative employment opportunity and, hence, on the value of his or her productivity in the marketplace.

Human Leeches

Sunday the local liberal rag, the Register Guard, had a small article titled County finds medical coverage for suspect. The newspaper seemed to print this article as if it were relieved that expensive medical care was finally found for a prisoner in the Yamhill County jail.

As you might have guessed, this prisoner is an illegal alien - Gustavo Rogelio Mercado-Murillo. This illegal alien is a sex crime criminal. The article didn't give information about the criminal charges but detailed the concern this scumbag criminal would have his expensive $6,000 + per week kidney dialysis covered.

So let's see what this Mexican leech is costing Oregonians:

• Medical care: $300,000 per year
  
  
• Basic prisoner cost: $24,665
  

Total for this 1 illegal alien Mexican leach per year: $324,665. There are somewhere between 15-20+ millions leeches in the USA!

There are hundreds if not thousands just in the Oregon prison system, and thousands more (thanks to uncaring fools like Governor Ted Kulongoski and Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy - and they keep telling us they need more taxes.

That's money from working Oregonians. That's a cell that should be occupied by a legal resident, not a free care center for some illegal Mexican sex pervert.

In the meantime jails throughout Oregon are forced to release prisoners because of lack of funds. There are hundreds, if not thousands, illegal alien leeching criminals in Oregon.

Oregonians don't need more taxes, we need laws enforced and the illegal scum and their illegal families OUT of our state. The Eugene - Springfield area has a growing Latino population - gee, wonder why? Because a handful of liberal idiots are giving them a free pass, free handouts (like Food for Lane County), and totally ignore their legal status. As this happens, 99.5% of the legal people are forced to pay - and suffer.

Oregon's Primary

As you know by now Secretary of State Bill Bradbury has finalized the names on Oregon Presidential Primary ballot: Clinton, Obama, McCain, and Dr. Paul.

Some might vote against their principles and wager who a likely winner would be. My vote is not for sale nor will I vote the odds. I will vote for the candidate that comes closest to matching my ideals - and that is Dr. Ron Paul.

It's simple really. Vote for Dr. Ron Paul if you want:

• LOWER taxes - MORE $$$ for your families
• LESS spending
  
• STOP mega-billions going to foreign aid

Rick Dancer is, was, a a popular news anchor on KEZI news. He quit his job yesterday to pursue the nomination for Oregon Secretary of State.

Mr. Dancer has decades of interaction with the public and is extremely knowledgeable about what is really going on in the state. Some of Mr. Dancer's words:

Vickie-bitch thinks that unless you're well grounded in the politics-as-usual and have experience catering to the special interest groups you can't make it.

Uh - come to think of it, Vickie-bitch is the same scum that supports "same day voter registration". That is a typical liberal tool used to gather up all those not legal to vote (felons, illegal aliens, people from out of state, etc.) - register them so they vote that same day - then with the current liberal Secretary of State Democrap Bill Bradbury - the voter registration information never gets checked! There is not 1 Democrat that speaks against this illegal voting scheme.

As a matter of fact, the Democrats in the Oregon Legislature will hold hearings for House Joint Resolution 43 - a Constitutional referral to pave the way toward same-day registration in Oregon!!!

Slap Those Stupid Parents

The socialists continue their obnoxious drive to replace the desires of parents with those of socialistic government rule. Case in point is Eugene Oregon's George Russell, a black male school district superintendent for Eugene.

I've preached this before - socialists take away choices and freedoms in order to advance their socialist agenda. In the Register Guard today this socialist gives some hints of his big plans to change the public school system in Eugene, and slap the faces of parents at the same time.

The population of Eugene is growing, not shrinking, yet this socialist clown wants to close schools. In doing so, his plan is to shove forced busing onto communities

as ways to achieve greater equality and integration

These tactics don't work, and how he and a handful of liberal socialists can alter entire communities and get away with it amazes me. Public schools must return to control of communities - not liberal activists. The entire concept of forced integration was ruled unconstitutional - but George Russell doesn't care - he has big plans to force his social concepts upon communities.

Russell cites that as the central paradigm:

Is it what's best for students in the district's opinion or what parents think is best?

(The guy doesn't even speak proper English!)

Obviously Mr. Russell thinks he knows best, not parents. Slap slap you stupid parent. Parents need to group together and kick these socialist assholes out of their community and out of our state.

You can check for yourself on any of these public schools in the Eugene school district. Once you see any drive for academic achievement has been replaced with socialistic/globalist crap then you will understand why students in Oregon can expect a big future career at Espresso shops or mini-malls or a social services center.

As the children of Oregon are becoming (in the eyes of the socialist school board) good globalites the children in India and Asian countries are passing them in academic skills, especially in math and science, thus rendering stupid products of socialism into lower skilled, lower paying jobs. One reason high-tech jobs are booming in India and not Oregon.

And you still think the liberal/socialist agenda is good for communities? For parents? For students?

Refunds, Vick, Oprah, Guns, and Human Lard

So we got our check Saturday for excessive taxes paid to the state of Oregon. In Oregon they call this refund of excessive tax collection a "kicker" check - as if we won something that didn't originally belong to us.

Some were against sending this refund back to the wage earners - they, in the interest of big government - wanted the government to keep it. Some wanted it to go to social welfare causes, some wanted non-tax payers to get a check even though they didn't pay any taxes, some wanted it to go to a "rainy day fund" (cute name to cover big government over spending), but the majority of hard workers wanted their money back.

To the big government advocates that get a check and want to practice what they preach they can return their refund check back to the government. From the Oregon Dept. of Revenue FAQ site:

The killing of innocent people at a church in Colorado reinforces the need for adults (with training) to carry concealed weapons (liberals don't want people to protect themselves), especially where people are gathered. Perhaps if more did the gunman would not have killed as many as he did. Fortunately a volunteer that was pack'n killed the shooter and saved many lives. I'm sure the anti-gun types will say this is an example of guns are bad for society. The stupidity of their thought is the gunman had violated many laws - so making another law to outlaw guns would simple apply to law-abiding people, not the gunman.

Any state and city that has concealed weapons permits easily available to the law-abiding has lower crime rates. Do you really think the gunman would have picked the church he did if he knew many of the adults were pack'n? Not!

Constitutional: Borders

Richard M. Rosenbaum, 61, and Edward S. Cunningham, 44, co-owners of a nationwide janitorial service employing illegal aliens plead guilty to charges of conspiring to defraud the federal government and harboring illegal aliens.

Rosenbaum faces up to 10 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. Cunningham faces a five-year prison term and up to $250,000 in fines. Both face restitution amounts that the government says could exceed $16 million.

If the USA only governed by the Constitution that founded our country we wouldn't have the mess of millions of invaders in our country. It doesn't matter if you support borders or not - it is an issue of the sovereignty of our nation, and we have a Constitution that spells out that sovereignty very simply and very clear.

We have laws that need to be observed and enforced when it comes to invaders. The instance above is a good start, but our officials need to be more aggressive, especially with very high consequences against the companies and their senior officers should they employ invaders.

Politicians in sanctuary cities and states must be held accountable for intentionally harboring invaders, obstruction of justice, and jeopardizing the sovereignty of the USA.

I really like the position of Ron Paul on borders:

• Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
  
  
• Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
  
  
• No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That's a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
  
  
• No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services (they do in Oregon, and illegal adults and children will get medical care under Oregon's measure 50).
  
  
• End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
  
  
• Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The Sky Is Falling (On Taxpayer's Heads)

It wasn't true, but the power of the media even back in 1938 was overwhelming to the ignorant. War of the Worlds panic spreads:

On Oct. 30, 1938, a radio reporter went on the air with a terrifying broadcast: A meteor had slammed into a farm in Mercer County. Thick, poisonous gas seeped through the air. Martians had descended on the nation, martial law was declared and scores of people were dead.

None of it was true. But hundreds of listeners tuning in to "War of the Worlds" had missed the introduction explaining that the program was fiction. They panicked, sending waves of hysteria and confusion across New Jersey and the country.

Hysteria and panic still plaque the ignorant. Consider just in Oregon the following measures on the ballot, all meant to induce fear among the ignorant:

Measure 50 - (Vote NO) - Deceptively called Health Care for Children gives Oregon Government even more money to do with what they want. It is a lie that it is for children. Item 4b gives the Democratic legislature the right to "Prescribe how the taxes imposed will be administered and enforced". Item 5 in the voter's pamphlet states it is

for low-income adults and other medically underserved Oregonians

"Low-income adults" would include the illegal alien adults of illegal alien children. You and I will pay for their insurance while they won't have to. On top of that you will have the thousands (and more) illegals and transients that will make their way to Oregon to get such a nice "free" handout. Maybe they can sleep and crap in your residential streets and parks.

"Medically underserved" can be a family that can afford health insurance but rather buy high-priced consumer products, TVs, new cars, boats, etc. instead of paying a health insurance premium. You and I will pay for their insurance while they won't have to.

This measure does absolutely nothing to make parents responsible their children. It does not hold them accountable for what I'd call child neglect. If anything, it encourages people to stop their private health insurance and move themselves into the "medically underserved" category. Like why pay for it themselves when taxpayers can? (Taxpayers will end up paying for this - count on it).

Democrats always sock it to the poor, and this is another of their punches. It is mainly the poor, lower class, and stupid that smoke and hitting this group with a 30% increase will simply cause crime to increase. Think of it - being robbed for some cigarettes.

In Eugene, OR you have Measure 20-132 (Vote NO). This is another BIG GOVERNMENT tax that is not needed. A tax on gas, or I should say ANOTHER tax on gas by Eugene. The truth is Eugene has plenty of money to fix roads, but they abuse the money they get - especially by giving grants to entities that sponsor illegal aliens and social issues - donations of tax payer money. The BIG GOVERNMENT of Eugene has no right to abuse tax payer's money.

Again, in Eugene, OR you have Measure 20-134 (Vote NO). Another BIG GOVERNMENT farce, another waste of tax payer's money. The biggest problems with the downtown area they want to "renew" are the transients, the illegal aliens, the bums, the homeless, and the drug addicts. In the 6 years I've lived in the region I've seen at least 4 good businesses close up because of this problem.

I heard Mayor Kitty Piercy on the radio about 6 weeks ago and someone called in and stated the problem as I mentioned it above. The caller asked what the Mayor and City Council planned to do about it, since if the problem remained; no one (at least with money) would go to the "revived" area. She basically admitted she had no plan other than once the "revitalization" took place the throngs of people surging into the "revitalized" area would push out the problem people. That's our stupid Mayor for ya.

Eugene has a government that prefers to take care of the 5% of the population (the problem people) and ignore the 95% of the taxpayers. The ignorance of this BIG GOVERNMENT must not be allowed to waste any more taxpayer money on a worthless project. It is dead before it even starts.

Tomorrow Lars Larson Will Kill Bambi

Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest a deer is walking around through a forest or field enjoying the last Friday it will even have. This beautiful creature is guilty - of just being a deer. This past Wednesday Lars Larson proclaimed he was going hunting and

"I plan to shoot a deer"

About a week ago you might have thought Lars Larson cared about deer, the way he took up the case to have Bucky the yearling buck deer and Snowball the doe returned to their caretakers. Turns out Lars was just exploiting that situation to take a stab at the Oregon Fish and Wildlife officials - he could care less about the deer.

Why would Lars Larson want to sneak up on such a beautiful animal and execute it? It surely isn't for the need of food, as you can tell from his growing pot belly. It surely isn't for the need of money since he makes a nice salary thanks to his radio program's sponsors of tobacco, whiskey, over-priced bottled water, etc.

I think the reason Lars would kill a deer is it makes him feel manly and tough. It's a common scene with weaklings - to be aggressive against the helpless. You won't see Lars compete in a physically challenging sport where his opponent is equally matched - Lars is a coward - so like some school bully he resorts to "sports" where he doesn't risk conflict from his opponent.

If you think Lars will catch and kill the deer in a situation equal to that of the deer (the deer has just itself) then you are very much wrong. Lars Larson will be carrying a rifle with a scope. This enables Lars to kill the deer from far away - without the deer knowing its assassin is about to plunge a bullet (or two) that will rip through the flesh and organs.

Today our local paper had an article titled Gay rights advocates aim to reveal petitioners' identities on Web site. The first two paragraphs:

PORTLAND - Gay rights supporters from Massachusetts say they plan a Web site to post the home addresses and phone numbers of people who sign petitions to block two gay rights laws passed by the 2007 Oregon Legislature.

''We all know there's a lot of homophobia out there,'' Aaron Toleos said, ''but this puts a face on it.''

The petition is to put on the ballot homosexual legislation that Democrat law makers passed, yet the majority of Oregon has already voted down. In includes forcing businesses, churches, anyone and everyone in Oregon to accept homosexuality as "normal". So if you run a children's nursery you'd be forced to keep some homosexual male that suddenly shows up in drag. The homosexual is free to choose his lifestyle, but any choice for you to accept it or not has been stripped from you by the Democrats of Oregon.

So why do the queers not want this on the ballot? They know the majority don't want to be FORCED to accept their lifestyle into their workplace, their schools, and their (and their children) lives. The perverted legislation passed by Democrats would be rejected by We The People, and they know it.

Their intent is for people to sign this list to be labeled as anti-gay, homophobic, and other hate-related labels.

It sounds to me this special interest queer group is suffering from a lot of hetrophobia. None the less, this is a list I'd be proud to be on.

Let's reverse their intentions of the list. Simple take the opposite approach from their objective - If you find a name NOT on the list you might reconsider your impressions about someone you know - that person might be a closet queer, or anti-family, or just plain not care about moral issues or the rights of others that will be trampled if the legislation becomes law.

If you have a male friend, neighbor, co-worker and their name isn't on this list you might not want to follow them into a public restroom!

Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski Arrested!

August 9, 2007 AP:

A joint agency task force arrested Governor Ted Kulongoski this morning following a series of raids at his home and the capital in Salem. The FBI and Homeland Security would only say Governor Kulongoski faces racketeering charges, conspiracy to harbor illegal alien nationals, conspiracy to direct tax payer funds to finance the illegal alien trade, conspiracy to disrupt federal immigration investigations, conspiracy to fabricate official state records to illegal aliens for the sole purpose of evading detection, and over 30 other criminal conspiracy charges.

Additional raids are ongoing at over 100 state agencies from the Oregon Department of Motor vehicles to social service sites. Hundreds of photos have been taken as evidence - many of the state's official offices brandishing walls of Spanish only postings and instructions.

FBI special agent Donald Kaplan said there is also growing evidence of a conspiracy between union bosses and the Oregon Governor to allow illegal workers to remain in Oregon.

Hundreds of protestors of Hispanic origin have began to march on Salem with signs that read (translated) "Free Amigo Ted, we're nothing without him".

Mexican President: Felipe De Jesus CALDERON Hinojosa has demanded the release of Governor Kulongoski, stating the Governor was made an honorary Mexican citizen (dual citizenship) 4 years ago.

Illegal Aliens Is A Family Issue

More than 165 illegal alien workers, hired by Del Monte - a well know employer of illegals - were rounded up in Portland yesterday.

Portland is governed by a leftist guerrilla by the name of Tom Potter. This mayor endorses burning American flags, shitting on American flags, businesses banning men and women in uniform from entry, and protects criminal aliens as well as giving the illegals resources robbed from hard working taxpayers.

• Fact: Del Monte will have no problem filling those 165+ jobs previously done by illegals - filling them with legal workers. So much for the lie that illegals do jobs legal workers won't do.
• Fact: Illegal sympathizers like President Bush are playing the guilt card - that immigration laws hurt families. What these illegal supporters don't tell you are the families that are being hurt:
• The legal families that can't find a job because some illegal has taken it.
• The legal families that have to pinch pennies because the mounting taxes, fees, and other government money-sucking schemes that go to pay for illegal's "social needs" are placing heavy burdens upon them.
• The legal families that are forced to send their children to government schools along with children of illegals - and are faced with crime, assault, and other pressures from these criminal kids.
• The legal families that can't feed their children because some illegals got to the food bank before them.
• The legal families that can't get proper healthcare because the illegals are swamping the healthcare system - usually showing up in emergency rooms and never paying for anything.

Fighting The Financial Terrorists

The well-fed sleepy face above is that of Faye Steward, one of the three Lane County Commissioners that tried to terrorize residents with a new income tax. Faye is an education flunky - he did complete high school, spent 1 term at Lane Community College and left - he couldn't handle it. He then thought he'd try a major in Business Management at Oregon State University - but it was too difficult for him to grasp and dropped out. No degree, no diploma, and no certificate in anything. No wonder this idiot can't balance a budget.

Yesterday voters stood up to the financial terrorists and voted by the largest margin against a county tax in Lane County. This was the 13th time the financial terrorists have tried - and failed - to coerce money from hard working people in Lane County.

Financial terrorist: A local or federal government that increases taxes or fees - another name for a tax - for the purpose of growing social services or activities that government has no business being involved in. In most all cases mismanagement of current funds are involved, and growingly - support of the illegal alien population.

These terrorists will stop at nothing to obtain more money from taxpayers - threats of reduced police protection, letting prisoners free, closing jails, "children will suffer", "elderly will suffer", etc.

Other Oregon financial terrorists have tried and failed yesterday, thanks to the will of the people sending their message loud and clear - dump the handout and social programs, dump the support of illegals, and stop your involvement in sectors that government has no business in.

Cuts? Expect Lane County to cut jobs that will punish the voters. Expect the social handout programs to stay, expect overpaid bureaucrats to stay and lower lever workers (the real workers) to be terminated. Expect handouts to illegals to remain (like English as a second language classes at LCC) while some police are let go.

Change for the better will not happen until we recall the idiots and replace them with business-minded and educated leaders.

If Democrats in the sex-obsessed Oregon legislature have their way this might be true. On the back of passing forced homosexuals and transvestites into the workplace Oregon Senator Margaret Carter, a black woman, wants prostitutes to be eligible for a state teaching license. Ah, diversity.

Ms. Carter thinks she can wane off the morality of her odd passion for prostitutes in the classroom by claiming it would be "invoking the gospel of redemption and forgiveness, and the sins of judgment". Ms. Carter, you're about as connected with anything moral as a turd to Godiva Chocolate. I guess she thinks herself rather clever.

Ms. Carter doesn't make any qualifications whether the prostitute can continue to moonlight or not, nor does she mention anything about academic abilities - not that academic abilities are required for a teacher in the union-controlled government public school system.

No doubt she might have friends and neighbors and maybe even family members that are or have been in the whoring business. Maybe they have stopped because they are infected with AIDS and need a cushiony government job with medical benefits. Whatever the reason, do you really think liberal union puppets care about the students?

What next you ask? It's already legal for male perverts in drag to teach in the public school - private schools too - Oregon Law, thanks to Democrats. Private schools have no choice, thanks to BIG DEMOCRAT GOVERNMENT.

Retail County Sales Tax - Page 25 - A county sales tax would be an excise tax on practically all retail sales of goods within the county boundaries. Estimated rape of individual's wallets/purses: $50 Million dollars.

Gross Receipts Tax - Page 25 - A gross receipts tax for Lane County would be similar to Washington's Business and Occupation (B&O) tax, which is imposed on business gross income, rather than on net income. Restaurant Tax - Page 26 - A county restaurant tax could be either a selective sales tax on each sales transaction for food and non-alchololic beverages sold in restaurants, or a tax levied on the gross receipts of restaurants. Business License Tax - Page 27 - A business license tax could be an annual fee imposed on any person, partnership, corporation or similar entity doing business in Lane County. Estimated rape of businesses: $2.4 Million dollars (passed on to customers), and citizens end up paying in the end!

Amusement & Entertainment Tax - Page 27 - An amusement/entertainment tax could be either an excise tax on sales price of admissions or entertainment service, or could be a selective gross receipts tax on those businesses engaged in the entertainment industry. (Movie theaters, video rentals, golf and mini golf, etc.). Estimated rape if you want to be entertained: over $570,000 (if UofO ticket sales are included), and citizens end up paying in the end!

Property Tax Options - Page 28 - Lane County is prohibited from increasing its own permanent tax rate to increase property tax revenues (thank God) into its General Fund. However, on property tax option is for the county to form a new service district with its own permanent tax rate. Estimated rape of property owners from scheme: $40.0 Million dollars (based on a new permanent rate authority by the formation of a public safety service district).

You go to a store and make a purchase. The items total $8.00 and you hand the clerk a $20.00 bill. The clerk says "thanks for your purchase, please come back soon". You say to the clerk "excuse me, but I gave you a $20 and I should be getting $12. back.". You demand the money back that was given in excess for the posted price of the item total. You demand to speak to the manager.

The manager comes over and explains that the store is going to keep your money as a buffer for periods when their sales are low. You say "WHAT? ARE YOU CRAZY?". The manager explains that this practice is perfectly legal in Oregon, since the Oregon Democrat BIG GOVERNMENT does exactly the same. The budget of Oregon is like the posted prices in a store, but now, instead of giving back the excess money collected - the Democrat's BIG GOVERNMENT has decided they will just keep it.
