We having fun yet? This is all a foretaste of what Obama will bring as president. Oh yeah - you better believe there will be change! Since the Liberal Democrats have too control of Congress over 18 months ago:

• They have totally screwed up the American economy
• Their liberal actions of the past have caused and are causing huge corporations to fail
• Have given us the largest debt in American history
• They continue to restrict and micro-manage free enterprise
• Their liberal interference in financial institutions are risking the retirement savings of millions
• Unemployment has been increasing
  
• Have totally failed in their Constitutional responsibilities

Uh nope - Senator Barack Obama is once again lying to the American people. Barack Obama thinks you are stupid and that you don't know anything about the US Constitution.

In case you don't know the President is part of the Executive branch. The Constitution spells out the responsibilities for each of the three branches.

Article II - the President

Budgetary responsibilities: NONE

Article I - the Congress

Budgetary responsibilities, Section 7:

• Raise revenue

Budgetary responsibilities, Section 8:

• Lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises
• Borrow money (go into debt)
• Regulate commerce with foreign nations and among states
• Coin money and regulate the value thereof
• Pay for the operation of the government (budget)
• Make laws to force businesses to follow
• Create laws (legislation) to micro-manage free enterprise
• Create legislation to boost some businesses while suppressing others

Liberal Congress members have been responsible for the mortgage "crisis". Concerned that many Americans would not get a home of their own they forced lending institutions to accept unqualified buyers, then promised these lenders that if the unqualified buyers defaulted then these loans would be backed (basically co-signed) by the government - you and I pay.

Well their good intentions backfired - of course.

But really - don't fall for that old lie Barack Obama is spreading, that line of "Bush's economy" because the office of the President has nothing to do with approving a budget or spending or what laws companies and corporations are to be subject to.

Don't expect Barack Obama to tell you the responsibilities of Congress - heck, he voted for items that have caused much of these failures, and even came up with his own "Global Poverty" act to empty America of over $500 BILLION and into the hands of the UN and outside nations!

Why Can't Idiots Die Sooner?

Remember about three years ago (after the 2005 active hurricane season) the Reverend Alberto Gore waved his arms, cried out to the world, and prophesied even further cataclysmic destruction from even more powerful and more frequent hurricanes? That global warming - a product of capitalism (according to him) - was to blame? That the world, especially America, must buy into his carbon credits to redeem itself?

Turns out after all Gore's ranting and raving we've had a weak hurricane season year after year. Actually, one of Gore's disciples and key "scientist" that supported Gore's globular wacko link, Kerry Emanuel, has now changed his mind.

More and more of the hierarchy around the world are proving Gore to be the idiot that the intelligent have always known.

One of the worse presidents of modern times, 83 year old Jimmy "peanut brain" Carter, is at it again. This liberal is now showing his kindred spirit toward terrorists - toward Hamas - and was even given a souvenir rocket tail on his recent trip. Carter said:

I think it's a despicable crime for any deliberate effort to be made to kill innocent civilians

When I hear something like that I thought he was talking about Hamas and/or other radical Muslim groups - but no, he was talking about the attempts of Israel to defend herself. What is it with liberals and their affection for terrorist groups? Barf, barf, barf.

Obama in Pittsburgh trying to "feel" the "pain" of the depressed manufacturing sector in that region? GET REAL! It's been the unions that have caused the loss of manufacturers and the jobs that went with them, yet, as I documented last week, Obama's primary goal as president is to strengthen the unions and to force even more companies to become unionized and swell the union ranks with signons of illegal aliens after he anoints them with amnesty. That sucking sound is your job disappearing!

Fighting The Financial Terrorists

The well-fed sleepy face above is that of Faye Steward, one of the three Lane County Commissioners that tried to terrorize residents with a new income tax. Faye is an education flunky - he did complete high school, spent 1 term at Lane Community College and left - he couldn't handle it. He then thought he'd try a major in Business Management at Oregon State University - but it was too difficult for him to grasp and dropped out. No degree, no diploma, and no certificate in anything. No wonder this idiot can't balance a budget.

Yesterday voters stood up to the financial terrorists and voted by the largest margin against a county tax in Lane County. This was the 13th time the financial terrorists have tried - and failed - to coerce money from hard working people in Lane County.

Financial terrorist: A local or federal government that increases taxes or fees - another name for a tax - for the purpose of growing social services or activities that government has no business being involved in. In most all cases mismanagement of current funds are involved, and growingly - support of the illegal alien population.

These terrorists will stop at nothing to obtain more money from taxpayers - threats of reduced police protection, letting prisoners free, closing jails, "children will suffer", "elderly will suffer", etc.

Other Oregon financial terrorists have tried and failed yesterday, thanks to the will of the people sending their message loud and clear - dump the handout and social programs, dump the support of illegals, and stop your involvement in sectors that government has no business in.

Cuts? Expect Lane County to cut jobs that will punish the voters. Expect the social handout programs to stay, expect overpaid bureaucrats to stay and lower lever workers (the real workers) to be terminated. Expect handouts to illegals to remain (like English as a second language classes at LCC) while some police are let go.

Change for the better will not happen until we recall the idiots and replace them with business-minded and educated leaders.
