Protection Or Handouts?

A couple of days ago the Register Guard (that liberal rag I sometimes reference) ran their opinion about a recent incident near Florence, Oregon - in Lane County. The title of their article was When no one responds - a homeowner that had some young guy shooting a gun toward their home and police were unable to send anyone to help her. She wasn't hurt and they eventually found out who it was and arrested the 20 y/o guy.

What are noteworthy are the last several paragraphs and their Liberal mindset I've posted about before - Register Guard sets the stage for some liberal politician and/or tax increase. After putting a bit of scare in the reader their last 3 paragraphs deliver the punch - voters better vote for tax increases or else!

This is the same tactic the RG used with their Liberal Eugene Mayor - Kitty Piercy - and I alerted you to that scam back on August 4. The RG is again, the front line to prep the population for the big tax coming upon voters: Live in fear or pay up!

I've also posted in the past how Liberal governments operate when they are faced with budget cuts. They will always cut law enforcement that impact everyone before cutting their social handout programs - that impact a very tiny percent of the population yet cost taxpayers MILLIONS each year. The Liberal, uneducated, idiots running Lane County are no exception.

In Lane County the total expenditures for the FY 08-09 period for the Department of Health and Human Services alone is $85,422,273! The largest share of this goes to "LaneCare" - only concocted back in 1996 is a public insurance company that contracts with mental health providers to offer a full continuum of services. If you want a hand out simply say you can't think "right" - in English or Spanish of course.

Oh yeah - faced with huge budget cutbacks including law enforcement maybe you should know their social services handout machine bought a building in downtown Eugene for $7.9 MILLION, and just finished renovations (with all union workers of course) costing $9 MILLION - more than the building itself!

So if you want to know the real reason the police isn't around when you need them think of their growing social services department and their new home - all to house their growing social handout machine for the illegal aliens, the illegal alien's children, drug addicts and their families they can't afford to have, scummy people flocking to Lane Country from other areas, and all of the growing staff to support their monolith to socialism - bilingual, of course.

Voters need to vote these Liberals OUT of our lives before it's too late!

I See Liberal People

Take a whiff - we're all in a liberal toilet, as a result of liberal Republicans and Liberal Democrats. Better think again before they end up flushing our whole country down the drain.

Too many politicians and lobbyists are spending America into ruin. We are nine trillion dollars in debt as a nation. Our mounting government debt endangers the financial future of our children and grandchildren. If we don't cut spending now, higher taxes and economic disaster will be in their future - and yours.

We cannot continue to allow private banks, wasteful agencies, lobbyists, corporations on welfare, and governments collecting foreign aid to dictate the size of our ballooning budget. We need a new method to prioritize our spending. It's called the Constitution of the United States.

In less than a year since liberals took control of Congress:

• The cost of living (inflation) has increased
• We have more illegal aliens than ever before
• Crude oil has increased over $20/barrel - about to pass over $100/barrel
  
• Value of the dollar on the international market has shrunk
• Increased the debt ceiling to historic levels
• Passed an incredible budget full of wasteful spending of American tax dollars
• Labor unions have got stronger
• Unionized public services, including schools, have demanded (and received) more money and benefits yet without any performance increase
• Businesses have more bureaucracy to deal with
• Entitlement programs are increasing
• Americans are forced to accept less English
• Domestic spying was approved
• Taxes are increasing
• Deductions are decreasing
• They continue to fund Iraq, a Muslim state, where Americans are being killed in a civil war between Islamic factions and where true democracy can never exist
  

So much more can be added to that list. Expect taxes to increase directly through taxes and fees and indirectly through lost deductions and lost credits. The socialism liberals strive for cost money - and lots of it.

Kind of funny - liberals cut off the liberal Lane County of Oregon's timber subsidy payments. Expect some drastic panic management to take place. Because the liberal commissioners just sat on their ass while receiving "free" handouts they never took the initiative to plan and manage a county effectively.

Expect services like law enforcement fire to be cut first - before they touch their social handout programs to the drug addicts, illegal aliens, and homeless from out of the state that come here for the handouts.

Fighting The Financial Terrorists

The well-fed sleepy face above is that of Faye Steward, one of the three Lane County Commissioners that tried to terrorize residents with a new income tax. Faye is an education flunky - he did complete high school, spent 1 term at Lane Community College and left - he couldn't handle it. He then thought he'd try a major in Business Management at Oregon State University - but it was too difficult for him to grasp and dropped out. No degree, no diploma, and no certificate in anything. No wonder this idiot can't balance a budget.

Yesterday voters stood up to the financial terrorists and voted by the largest margin against a county tax in Lane County. This was the 13th time the financial terrorists have tried - and failed - to coerce money from hard working people in Lane County.

Financial terrorist: A local or federal government that increases taxes or fees - another name for a tax - for the purpose of growing social services or activities that government has no business being involved in. In most all cases mismanagement of current funds are involved, and growingly - support of the illegal alien population.

These terrorists will stop at nothing to obtain more money from taxpayers - threats of reduced police protection, letting prisoners free, closing jails, "children will suffer", "elderly will suffer", etc.

Other Oregon financial terrorists have tried and failed yesterday, thanks to the will of the people sending their message loud and clear - dump the handout and social programs, dump the support of illegals, and stop your involvement in sectors that government has no business in.

Cuts? Expect Lane County to cut jobs that will punish the voters. Expect the social handout programs to stay, expect overpaid bureaucrats to stay and lower lever workers (the real workers) to be terminated. Expect handouts to illegals to remain (like English as a second language classes at LCC) while some police are let go.

Change for the better will not happen until we recall the idiots and replace them with business-minded and educated leaders.

JustaDog - Lane County Commissioner

Steps are in motion to recall Lane County Commissioner Bobby Green - one of three public enemy's that voted for a county income tax. Hopefully, Stewart and Dwyer will be next.

I wondered how I would lead Lane County if I, JustaDog, were elected to replace Bobby Green. Here is a partial view of my platform:

• No illegal aliens. Lane County will not be a sanctuary county. Any person found to be an illegal alien will be held for federal authorities. An invoice for rounding up these criminals would be presented to the federal government quarterly
• No loitering. If a person does not have a legal verified address they will be bused to Salem on a one-way ticket
• No panhandling. Panhandlers are conducting a business without a license. Conducting a business without a business license is illegal and the law will be enforced
• The county is not a bank - an end to loans and grants for businesses and special interest groups
• End of social handout programs. If the citizens of Lane County wish to help those that choose not to they are totally free to do so. Likewise, Lane County has no right to force allocation of taxpayer monies to any special interest group - no matter how "goodie goodie" they sound
• Increase the budget for law enforcement and prisons, not decrease it
• An end to "donating" taxpayer's money to "worthy" (special interest) groups. If people wish to support their favorite group they can do so with their own money. It's not right for County Commissioners to be generous with other people's money
• All state mandated social programs that set up shop in Lane County will be required to provide social services only to legal residents by identification recognized by the USA
• An end to small business grants and handouts. There are many resources that new and struggling businesses can turn to and Lane County residents should not have their precious tax dollars spent on such high-risk activities. If these business are unable to secure funds from traditional resources then it's all the more reason Lane County residents shouldn't
• We will be an English-only county. All Lane County signs, posters, etc. will be in English only
• Rural schools will be allowed to set up as Charter schools
• All schools that receive funding from Lane County will have all programs that are not directly related to the classroom terminated. For example, the taxpayer funded day care at Lane County Community College would be terminated. English as a second language (ESL) classes would be terminated or those attending will be required to pay the full price to compensate the cost of the class. All students must be legal residents
• All inmates will be billed for the full cost of their incarceration. This includes the use of the facilities, food, medical, dental, etc. If they cannot pay then they will have to work it off for the county for minimum wage - no exceptions
• Jails would be reserved for violent offenders. It makes no sense to jail someone accused of a victimless crime. These can be given a citation, pay a fee, do community service, etc.
• The taxpayer and legal residents of Lane County will be the priority, not any special interest group, not any union, and not a few county workers
• Any new roads will be made from concrete, not inferior asphalt. This will save the county much money in the long term. Planned obsolesces of roads must stop
• All construction costing over $10,000 will be put out for bid. Contractors would have to sign a "we use only legal labor" contract, be bonded, etc.
• All expenditures over $1,000 will be detailed to the public. There will be accountability. Paying off friends and neighbors (as is the practice now) as "consultants" or things like a $5,000 for a drug addict's hypo drop off box (made by some friend of a friend) will stop
• Any expenditure over $1,000,000 will require a vote by the citizens of Lane County

Just a few - I better stop or I just might run for office!

What Lane County Has In Store For Taxpayers

Foolish Democrats, always finding ways to rape the taxpayer and spend, spend, spend. Like the recent Democrats that proposed a plan to spend $36 Million dollars of taxpayer's money so every schoolchild in Michigan could have an IPod. Our Lane County in Oregon has big rape-and-spend nappy hoes here as well.

Just check out the PDF document "Exec Summary-Public Safety Task Force Final Report" on the Lane County website. Keep in mind government will try and suck more taxpayer's dollars from us under the umbrella of "public safety". Also be aware these money-hungry liberals will threaten residents into fear of surrender. We must fight back!

In order to sustain their mismanagement and social programs, this is what they sit around and dream up:

Personal Income Tax - Page 24 - A Lane County personal income tax would tax income of residents, and possibly nonresidents', earned in Lane County. Estimated rape of resident's wallet/purse: $62.5 Million dollars.

Corporate Income Tax - Page 24 - A county corporate income tax would be a tax imposed on net corporate income earned within the county geographical boundary. Estimated rape of corporations: an additional $3 million over what they already get (passed on to customers), and citizens end up paying in the end!

Retail County Sales Tax - Page 25 - A county sales tax would be an excise tax on practically all retail sales of goods within the county boundaries. Estimated rape of individual's wallets/purses: $50 Million dollars.

Gross Receipts Tax - Page 25 - A gross receipts tax for Lane County would be similar to Washington's Business and Occupation (B&O) tax, which is imposed on business gross income, rather than on net income. Estimated rape on business: $22.7 Million dollars (passed on to customers), and citizens end up paying in the end!

Restaurant Tax - Page 26 - A county restaurant tax could be either a selective sales tax on each sales transaction for food and non-alchololic beverages sold in restaurants, or a tax levied on the gross receipts of restaurants. Estimated rape on all the little restaurants: $11.7 Million dollars (passed on to customers), and citizens end up paying in the end!

Business License Tax - Page 27 - A business license tax could be an annual fee imposed on any person, partnership, corporation or similar entity doing business in Lane County. Estimated rape of businesses: $2.4 Million dollars (passed on to customers), and citizens end up paying in the end!

Amusement & Entertainment Tax - Page 27 - An amusement/entertainment tax could be either an excise tax on sales price of admissions or entertainment service, or could be a selective gross receipts tax on those businesses engaged in the entertainment industry. (Movie theaters, video rentals, golf and mini golf, etc.). Estimated rape if you want to be entertained: over $570,000 (if UofO ticket sales are included), and citizens end up paying in the end!

Property Tax Options - Page 28 - Lane County is prohibited from increasing its own permanent tax rate to increase property tax revenues (thank God) into its General Fund. However, on property tax option is for the county to form a new service district with its own permanent tax rate. Estimated rape of property owners from scheme: $40.0 Million dollars (based on a new permanent rate authority by the formation of a public safety service district).

Now bend over.

The Lane County Oregon Lie

In 2006 voters in Lane County Oregon voted against an income tax. In 2007 the governments of Lane County said screw the voters, we "need" an income tax of our own - other counties in Oregon have an income tax and we want one too.

In order to "persuade" the residents of Lane County, the commissioners have used one of the two favorite motivators of government - your safety and security will be jeopardized if they don't get this tax increase. (The other motivator involves exploiting children) The first that will get the big chop will be police and law enforcement - with the strategy of invoking fear into the residents.

The commissioners of Lane County like to say "public safety" is at risk but in reality, when they say "public safety" you need to know their term includes not only law enforcement but every social handout program - "public safety".

Lane County is large in area, but short in population - less than 400,000 - far less than thousands of median sized cities and about the size of Tulsa Oklahoma. Lane County is popular:

• High crime
• Extreme methamphetamine problems
• Increasing illegal alien population
• Increasing social handout programs
  

If you live in Lane County it's time to take back our county. This Saturday you can sign a petition to stop the out-of-control government from imposing an unneeded income tax upon the hard working people of our county. Here is a list of where you can go to sign this petition - if anyone knows of other places please post them in the comments.

If I were in control the top three items on the agenda would be:

• Put law enforcement as the top priority for the country - increase the current budget for law enforcement. The priority of government is the safety and security of the citizens, not social handout programs and not to grow support unneeded government jobs
• Have the voters change the Charter of Lane County to support 3 county commissioners, not the current 5 (and dump those that insist on increased tax-and-spend policies)
• Delete programs the county government has no business funding with tax payer's money (WIC program, HIV testing clinics, diversity programs, etc.)
  

Lane County has money, lots of money. The problem is the management of this money - and a growing amount is going to support the increasing population of illegal aliens and indigents.

LANE COUNTY BELONGS TO THE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF LANE COUNTY, NOT THE 5 COMMISSIONERS!
