Has America Gone Stupid?

Anyone that has taken a basic government course should know that only Congress can pass a budget and spend your money. It is obvious from the past election a majority of people are ignorant of how our government works.

Two days ago an article in the WSJ titled The Pelosi Record pointed out the obvious - but I guess the majority of voters either don't care or are blinded by party loyalty.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi:

likes to thunder against "the failures of eight years of the Bush economic policies." The stock market has collapsed, she hisses, "because of a Republican philosophy of greed, deregulation, and tax cuts."

WSJ facts:

almost the entire decline in the economy has come since she picked up the Speaker's gavel. The stock market has decisively voted thumbs-down on the Pelosi paradigm, with the Dow falling from 12,157 in November 2006 to 8,600 today

The night of the Democratic landslide election of 2006, the net worth of the country was roughly $50 trillion. Now it's at least $6 trillion lower.

Democrats promised jobs and pay raises, but the unemployment rate has climbed steadily from 4.5% to 6.7%. The misery index (inflation plus the unemployment rate) has nearly doubled during Ms. Pelosi's watch.

Two years ago Speaker Pelosi solemnly pledged a new ethic of fiscal responsibility if voters would empower her with the Speaker's gavel. Instead the federal budget deficit has soared from $165 billion in fiscal year 2007 to $486 billion in 2008 and could reach $1 trillion in 2009.

Meanwhile, routine federal spending has risen by $400 billion in two years -- a figure that does not include the cost of the three federal banking bailouts, and counting. All of this can't be blamed solely on President Bush because it is Congress that has the power of the purse.

Meanwhile, the change that Democrats promised to bring when they took control of Congress continues to happen - just not in the interest of Americans. A small fraction of what has been going on within the past 48 hours:

• Presto Products Co. plans to cut 250 jobs
• Bakersfield newspaper plans to cut 25 jobs
• United Airlines plans to cut 1,200 jobs
• East TN Zinc plans to cut 320 jobs
• Arizona Republic cut 68 jobs yesterday, eventually 2,000
• AT&T plans to cut 12,000 jobs
• Adobe Systems plans to cut 600 jobs
• Cessna cutting over 500 jobs
• Celebrate Express cutting 200 jobs
• US Steel cutting 3,500 jobs

I can go on and on - if you have any doubts just search for recent news on Google using "layoff". Way too many to list on this post.

Certainty

With all the news attention to contrived crisis there are certainties you can be sure of.

• YOUR Liberal Congress WILL provide taxpayer $ to the UAW machine (they will give the appearance that they, Congress, is tough and watching out for your money) - the unions own the liberal politician and will win your money
  
• Liberal media will continue to push the mortgage crisis with stories like 3Q mortgage delinquencies shoot higher - 3.96% of people holding a mortgage behind in their payments - but will NEVER cover the story that 96.04% of mortgage holders are doing just fine
• The next terrorist attack will be executed by Muslims, yet Liberals continue to protect the most deadly conquest-driven "religion" with special civil rights
• If you live in a liberal controlled state or city expect your taxes and fees to increase while they reduce critical services like law enforcement - their priority is protecting the unions that have infiltrated the public services sector, especially local and state construction and social services jobs
• Your tax money, and the future tax money yet paid, will be distributed to Liberal-controlled states that have been managed poorly; states that have openly paid for huge handout programs to lazy people, to illegal aliens (and their children), to growing union demands in the public services sector
• Not 1 Liberal politician will ever face charges for conspiracy to commit fraud, nor will any of them be required to disclose the their investment portfolios to determine the extent of the conflict of interest they've been involved in
• Rep. Charles Rangel will not be charged criminally in any wrong doing linked to his fraud and ethics violations - because he is both a Liberal and he is black - instant free pass
• Unions strikes will increase and combined with Barack Obama's plan to make it illegal for companies to hire replacements when strikes occur - expect inflation to zoom as well as your taxes and fees you pay
• Liberals will literally scare you to pay more taxes and support their union machine

Equality & Extortion

Curtis Lavelle Vance is the black man that brutally beat and slaughtered Anne Pressly, a 26 year old white anchorwoman. Mr. Vance is a known criminal and fortunately has been arrested. Don't worry - he won't be punished because he is a victim of a something - I'm sure liberals will come to his defense.

If this was a white man that beat and slaughtered a young black woman it would quickly be classified as a hate crime.

However, blacks - especially black males - are exempt from racial hate crime charges so police are just calling it a random attack.

Uh yeah, right.

Worried those union puppets in Congress are going to give the UAW auto industry a $23 BILLION extortion payout? You can stop worrying.

The prime puppets Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, and Reid are planning to pay their puppet masters $75 BILLION instead! The United Auto Workers socialist union have stood firm in not willing to renegotiate (lower) their contracted salaries and exorbitant benefits to help keep their industry afloat.

Hey - don't blame me. I've been warning of the growing union machine infesting out country and government ever since I started this blog! You voted the puppet creeps into Congress, so you can reap the shame.

Dear Dr. Martin Luther King: 2 of 2

Well the count down is closing in to your day of observance Dr. King. Back when you were alive I bet you never would have expected Hispanics to displace the black population in the USA. They are like wild locus swarming into our dear country, infesting our economy and taking jobs from everyone - including blacks.

This infestation knows no bounds. Most all are criminals since they have illegally come into our country - yet they are treated better than black American citizens. They have no concept of personal responsibilities and just keep impregnating each other over and over. 55% of these new Mexican mothers are not even high school graduates - so of course they will be sucking social services that once were used to help blacks that deserved to live in the USA.

Mexicans have a lower IQ than blacks and whites, with Mexicans dropping out of school at a rate 30% higher than blacks - yet there is great inequality in our country. This infestation is leaching the majority of social services, and they are here illegally.

Add to the above the very poor hygiene habits of Mexicans that come to the USA - basically non-existent. Americans across the country have suffered direct and economic problems because of these illegals using the fields of spinach and other produce as their open air toilet. Brain worms that can be fatal are being spread by these illegal third world aliens - yet they are raping our nation of our resources that should be going to our legal population.

Then the Democrats - yes, that group that voices support for your ideals yet tears down every pillar that you stood for. Just the other day it was made know their first order of the day in the new (Democrat controlled) Senate is to penalize Pro-Family groups.

Liberals in the government controlled public school systems have routinely tried to limit or totally stop access by Christian groups - groups that provide direction, hope, encouragement, moral standards. Rest assured, we are fighting harder against these Democrats.

Perhaps you somehow saw Natzi Pelosi with children around her as she was being enthroned the other day. What hypocrisy, and I'm sure you'd agree. Remember repeating those words We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal? Well behold the party that holds little children as something less than trash - to throw into a can and dump with the trash. A child of liberal parents should count themselves lucky their mother didn't get up on the wrong side of the bed or get indigestion. They would have been aborted - dumped - trashed.

You see how Natzi Pelosi uses children as political props - nothing more.

Union Bosses Want Your Money Too!

If the union bosses gets their way - and they might with so many of their bitches about to take control next month - employees that are not union members will be forced to pay up.

This is punishment to be imposed upon non-union workers simply because they aren't paying those extortionist union dues. Quaintly called a fair share fee it will first be considered for Iowa - spearheaded by Democrat (of course) House Speaker-select Pat Murphy. Their house GOP leader, Christopher Rants, has issues with this punishment tax:

Rants took issue with a proposed "fair share" fee being considered for non-union workers who benefit from a work agreement but pay no dues to labor organizations that negotiated contracts under Iowa's right to work law. That was another issue not discussed during the 2006 election campaign, Rants said, and is a place where Republicans will "draw the line" on bipartisanship next session.

Once it passes in Iowa, expect all non-union workers to receive their proper punishment - thanks to the Democrats - on - a - union - rope politicians.

Meanwhile, union bosses are whining about Immigration enforcement removing illegal workers in various meat packing plants. Why would union bosses want illegal aliens to stay? Because they pay the union bosses with their union "dues".

Expect supreme Democrat - on - the - union's - payroll bitch Pelosi to make sure such roundups don't happen in the future. You know Pelosi - the same that opposed a House immigration bill that would have made being in the USA illegally a felony.

Democrat Murtha Gives Finger To America

Democrat John "Pudgiest" Murtha is rip roaring MAD. Nancy "I'm so liberal" Pelosi's ordered that her sugar daddy be elected the new House majority leader but those she thought her puppets decided Democrat Steny Hoyer was the one for the position.

Nancy Pelosi is not only embarrassed that her first leadership demand was overruled, but so mad she was seen leaving the capital for an extra thick Depend Boost. What a way for the Speaker-designate to start - poor hormonal Pelosi.

Perhaps some Democrats are still embarrassed about Murtha - a former Marine turned corrupt official and traitor (even Democrats worry about his controversial ethics record) - yet still eating his daily chocolate éclairs at the Capital Mall and representing god knows who. Obviously being a Marine in one's past doesn't mean much after a few decades of mental decay.

Will Democrats prove to America they are strong on security? Duh - not!

Will Democrats prove to America they are enforcers of the law and punish businesses that hire illegal aliens? Duh - not!

Will Democrats prove to America they are pro family values and keep homosexuals from invading the traditional marriage union? Duh - not!

Will Democrats prove to America they are able to recognize the enemy? Duh - not!

Will Democrats prove to America they are willing to protect the US Constitution over global agendas? Duh - not!

Will Democrats prove to America they are willing to hold the UN accountable for atrocities, fraud, and mismanagement? Duh - not!

Will Democrats prove to America they are respectful of life - even a child's life as it is being born? Duh - not!

Will Democrats prove to America they are going reduce the size of government? Duh - never!

Will Democrats prove to America they desire to give parents freedom of choice and support school vouchers? Duh - never!

Will Democrats prove to America they are not union puppets? Duh - no way, especially with the biggest union puppet - Edwardo Kennedy - the new head (or belly) of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions committee.

Ah yes, it will be in interesting two years.
