Refunds, Vick, Oprah, Guns, and Human Lard

So we got our check Saturday for excessive taxes paid to the state of Oregon. In Oregon they call this refund of excessive tax collection a "kicker" check - as if we won something that didn't originally belong to us.

Some were against sending this refund back to the wage earners - they, in the interest of big government - wanted the government to keep it. Some wanted it to go to social welfare causes, some wanted non-tax payers to get a check even though they didn't pay any taxes, some wanted it to go to a "rainy day fund" (cute name to cover big government over spending), but the majority of hard workers wanted their money back.

To the big government advocates that get a check and want to practice what they preach they can return their refund check back to the government. From the Oregon Dept. of Revenue FAQ site:

Dog torturer Michael Vick finally got sentenced for his heinous crimes of torture and slaughter of helpless doggies - 23 months - less than half of the maximum sentence he could have received. Let's hope the state will bring him to trial as well.

The killing of innocent people at a church in Colorado reinforces the need for adults (with training) to carry concealed weapons (liberals don't want people to protect themselves), especially where people are gathered. Perhaps if more did the gunman would not have killed as many as he did. Fortunately a volunteer that was pack'n killed the shooter and saved many lives. I'm sure the anti-gun types will say this is an example of guns are bad for society. The stupidity of their thought is the gunman had violated many laws - so making another law to outlaw guns would simple apply to law-abiding people, not the gunman.

Any state and city that has concealed weapons permits easily available to the law-abiding has lower crime rates. Do you really think the gunman would have picked the church he did if he knew many of the adults were pack'n? Not!

Liberal Canada's worse serial killer was found guilty Sunday of second degree murder in the death of six women - six out of 26 he will be tried for. He lured his victims to his pig far and killed them, cut up their bodies and disposed of the remains using pigs and a rendering plant. Wonder what stores he sold his lard to?

The act of inflicting excruciating pain, as punishment or revenge, as a means of getting a confession or information, or for sheer cruelty.

The Democrat Congress has succeeded in torturing Alberto Gonzales to the breaking point. Demorats tortured him with a non-stop barrage of hearings, accusations, and fabricated scandals, all for the purpose of railroading this Hispanic from his office. Democrats could find nothing wrong or illegal, so they resorted to torture - for Gonzales's family too - until he couldn't take it anymore. This is the way the Democrat mind works.

Friday's Frumps

Well here's another excuse for FAT people to use instead of their own hand-to-mouth action. A study (supposedly) finds a virus may contribute to obesity. Note the title and the use of the word "may".

I've done my own study and can say with certainty that calories don't come from breathing, but they do come from eating more than you expend in physical activity.

The reality of these so-called studies is the goal of labeling obesity as a disease. Once it's a disease then drug companies and hospitals will have revenue streams they can't enjoy now. Hundreds of thousands will be walking into clinics, waddle up to the counter, and say "I'm fat, and I need pills". Government handouts become available to "diseases" than non-diseases. Now go enjoy that buffet.

Shlick Vick

Well that slime Democrat Michael Vick changed his perverted mind and decided to confess not only his guilt in his torture and murder of helpless little animals but that he'd been lying to his fans and everyone else when he said earlier he was innocent.

What to expect from this evil Democrat? The typical:

"I put my trust in God..."
"I pray for all your forgiveness..."
"I was wrong and will be responsible (just give me back my contracts)"
"It was the fault of racial pressures on me..."

Also expect special interest groups like the NAACP and individuals to claim Vick is being wrongly judged because of race. The religion and race cards will be played on this - count on it.

Good news: Shlick Vick did his plea deal with the Feds, but he can still face charges in the state of Virginia.

Gerald Poindexter, the district attorney in Surrey County, said last week that he would pursue charges against Vick at the state level. There is nothing in the plea agreement or anything the feds can say that can stop Poindexter from filing state charges if he so chooses. Animal-rights groups would love Poindexter to follow through since dogfighting is felony in Virginia. If convicted on all counts, Vick could face 40 years in prison.

Bad news:

Poindexter is a wild card and often talks out of both sides of his mouth. Don't be surprised if he doesn't file charges against Vick, a popular local athlete.

Michael "The Butcher" Vick Finds God

Yep, as typical with criminals when faced with charges they know will be difficult to fight, they play the God Card.

"But I'm going to get through it and I feel, by the grace of God, that's the only way," Vick said. "I believe in the outcome at the end, and that's why I put my faith in the man upstairs."

Uh - like the grace you showed all those little doggies? And who is the "man upstairs" you refer to? Louis "super racist" Farrakhan?

No matter how Michael "The Butcher" Vick wraps himself, he is an evil person and needs to be charged and convicted to the fullest extent of the law.

Michael Vick - Ugly Cowardice Personified

Pictured above is one of America's worse assholes - Michael Vick - animal torturer. Going beyond illegal dog fighting this Democrat scumbag tortured helpless doggies by drowning them as he laughed, smashing their little heads with hammers, electrocution, and the list goes on. There is nothing great about this asshole and he certainly is no role model.

I will never buy anything with a Nike logo until they take a stance and terminate their contract with this scumbag. They have removed items associated with this scum off their website for now, but they still have the contract intact. Nike: Either you endorse animal abusers or you don't - make your choice. I'd advise merchants to dump Nike and push "animal friendly" companies.

I contacted Nike via email, and got an email (boiler plate) reply:

Nike is concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations made against Michael Vick, and we consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent. We do believe that Michael Vick should be afforded the same due process as any citizen; therefore, we have not terminated our relationship.

Nike chooses to ignore the facts in favor of their bottom line:

1. An April 25 narcotics-related search of Vick's home and property at 1915 Moonlight Drive police discovered a large number of animals, and evidence which they felt indicated dog fighting - 66 dogs, 55 of them pit bulls, and seized equipment and some physical evidence that could be associated with dog fighting. Nike chooses to ignore this in favor of their bottom line.
2. Detectives also seized guns, illegal ammunition magazines, suspected marijuana and paperwork on dog fighting. Nike chooses to ignore this in favor of their bottom line.
3. Documents filed in federal court in Richmond on July 2 and obtained by the Associated Press under the Freedom of Information Act outline an extensive multi-state dog fighting enterprise named "Bad Newz Kennels" which was allegedly operating from the Vick property since at least 2002. Nike chooses to ignore this in favor of their bottom line.
4. On July 17 Michael Vick was indicted by a federal grand jury for "conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and to sponsor a dog in animal fighting venture". Nike chooses to ignore this in favor of their bottom line.
5. This is the scum that flipped off Atlanta fans last year. Nike chooses to ignore this in favor of their bottom line.
   

If the NFL ever wants to have a reputation of any decency they will force this asshole out of football - forever. The NFL has to decide if they want a league of scumbags or do they employ sportsmen of quality.

I happened to turn on Lars Larson for about 20 minutes yesterday - just when some stupid, moronic, idiot bitch calls in to offer her opinion how the world could be a better place.

"I respect religions like Islam because the don't let people drink. If people didn't drink they would be happier".

I had to have cold beer (9.5%) and chill. To that stupid bitch I say PLEASE - go move your primitive mind to a country under Sharia law. Just be sure you dress accordingly.

Just look around and you'll see the majority of problems in the world are because a few people in government use the power of growing government to enforce (inflict) their view of what they feel is moral or not on the majority of the population.

Someone thinks it's immoral for people to gamble online, so make a law against it.

Someone thinks it's immoral for lazy inept people to make less than people that work and try harder, so make a law to take from those that try and give it to those that don't.

Someone thinks it's immoral to execute child molesters and killers, so make sure they get out of jail and inject them back into the communities of law-abiding citizens.

Someone thinks it's immoral to speak freely about some topic, so make a law against it and call it "hate crime".
