2008 - A Year Of Stupidity - 9 Days Left

Desperation breeds stupidity, and that's what the world saw in the New York Times article blaming the Housing and Financial Crisis on President Bush. A once huge and respected newspaper - desperate to increase sales - resorts to tabloid-style sensationalism lies and distortions in a vain attempt to jump sales.

Even sadder are all the other liberal newsprint that jumped to stick this same junk into their papers. I don't think it worked - if anything, it backfired. I suppose the Liberals need some sort of distraction from the reality of the Chicago mob-infested corrupt politics that produced Barack Obama.

It shows the desperate measures of Liberal print - going down the toilet like Air America. Half truths or outright lies - people are tired of all their puke.

The NY Times is struggling. Even back in 2005 they terminated 500 of their staff (4%) as well as hundreds more since then. The Boston Globe, owned by the NY Times, is going down the same toilet. Last year they closed all of their foreign overseas operations.

This month the NY Times retained Cushman & Wakefield to mortgage off their prize New York Times Building in Midtown Manhattan (they own 58%).

The pais de resistance of this Liberal rag? Standard & Poor's recently lowered its credit rating on The Times Company below investment grade. For those not familiar with financial terms, The Times Company is now rated as JUNK BOND status - just like their articles.

Good For Who?

The words of Senator BO have spread like wildfire. Nothing new to me - I've been warning my readers of this all along, but now out of BO's lips:

When you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody.

That was the worry of a Toledo plumber - wanting to start up his own business and asking Senator BO a question about his taxation burden upon even the smallest of businesses.

Small business is not the only employers worried - big business is worried too. In the Sept/Oct issue of Chief Executive the industry leaders - those that create jobs - express their views on who would be dangerous for business growth and job creation.

80% support John McCain. 69% downright fear Barack Obama. In a detailed survey of job creating CEOs the Chief Executive magazine surveyed many factors including the impact of taxes, regulation, education, trade restrictions, and sales growth - the policies of both candidates - and even graded both on various other factors.

Barack Obama has activists, lawyers, and academians as his advisors, and this reflects who his appointments would be as well.

John McCain has business executives, financial executives, and military staff, as his advisors and this reflect who his appointments would be as well.

You can believe the lying liberal lips of Barack Obama or you can believe the very people that create jobs.

BTW - Obama's promised tax cuts won't mean much if you're unemployed!

Canada's election yesterday might give a peek into the future of the socialist-liberal control in government. Tired of huge tax increases (like Barack Obama promises), tired of a failed "free" medical system (that Barack Obama promises), tired of the increasing power of unions (that Barack Obama has promised union bosses), and tired of freedoms being taken away (as Barack Obama's government will) - Canadians have voted to not only keep their Conservative PM Stephen Harper in office, but increase the representation of Conservatives by at least 143.

Susceptible To Brainwashing

When a cult entices young children into their group a common practice to break the trust factor between child and parent is to saturate (repeat) the young mind with a negative view of what they have put their trust in - the parent. Often this will take the form of "your mother and father won't allow you to have ---" and before long, the child is convinced "---these people are right, my parents won't allow me to have ---".

Altering a person's values is critical to Socialists (aka, Liberals, aka Progressives). Anyone can take a step back from what is going on in America and get the big view - but it takes a strong mind to see this.

For example, the companies that refine smelly sticky crude oil and provide it in a form for you to easily use are a current target of this brainwashing. Companies that help get to work or play or your gas-powered tools are called your enemy. The brain washers try and manipulate your personal greed for cheaper gas with a faceless company that has a bigger greed for profits. While a little of free enterprise (not fully since Liberal politicians manipulate the oil industry) is taking place the Socialists saturate the population that free enterprise is bad - that you are suffering while "big oil" is getting rich (government is getting rich but they leave that part out). This perception of companies helping you is so warped that Democrats use it in negative campaign ads - so-and-so gave "big oil" tax breaks, etc. Some Democrats have even gone on record that the oil industry should be under Socialist control - even bigger government than we currently have.

Another example is the drug industry. Here you have companies that invest billions to bring drugs that will help people - yet Socialists use the same tactics as they do with the oil industry. Socialists have been saturating the population, manipulating the minds, that the drug industry isn't good - it's evil.

For Socialism to strengthen they must remove the foundation of what made America great - free enterprise, democracy, freedom, and less government. Targeting the few remaining American companies as the enemy is necessary to their goals. Convincing you government control would be better is what makes Socialism what it is. Using the power of government to force companies into mandatory union labor agreements is extremely important and required for Socialism to survive - although America as a economic leader - will die.

Just Another Marketing Scam

In one of Senator Barack Obama's latest puffs he says:

One voice can change a room, and if one voice can change a room it can change a city. If it can change a city, it can change a state. If it can change a state it can change a nation. And, if it can change a nation it can change the world.

The problem is Senator Obama hasn't used his puffy words in his own life. From the time Senator Obama was first sworn in as a US Senator in January 2005 he's done absolutely nothing worth noting. He has failed to change a room (Senate), he failed to change a city (Congress), he failed to change a state (Washington politics), he failed to change a nation (USA), and he failed to change the world.

Mr. Obama spins a good fairy tale, but his very short political career has proven when he is given a chance he does nothing - other than to provide more handouts, promote unions, and give away other people's money.

In other words, Senator Obama is not an asset to America, he is a liability.

Today's Prediction: The Future Of Al Gore

My prediction might not please the GW (Global Warming, aka - Glow Worm) crowd that are hoping Barack Obama will name Al Gore as his VP of choice. Obama has said:

Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem

talking about the fraud of global warming of course. My guess is Obama, if elected president, will create two new cabinet positions - one for racism and one for GW.

Even if invited Al Gore would never become an elected official again. Why? Because to do so would require he open his federal tax returns to public scrutiny - something Al would rather keep hidden.

To reveal his returns would reveal his growing ownership in "green" business ventures that have a direct pipeline of commitments that Al Gore has, and still is, pumping the planet for. Using fear of the unknown and fear of normal planet dynamics Al Gore has been responsible for pumping up the greatest scam in the history of the world.

Democrat Al Gore would also have to reveal his covert group Generation Investment Management (GIM) - a private equity firm. GIM has considerable influence over major carbon credit (scam) trading firms - the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) and the U.K.-based Carbon Neutral Company (CNC). Where it gets its funding and what projects it supports remains secret - so Al Gore will never open up his personal finances 'cause he's got a good thing going for him!

Gore's advocacy group, The Alliance for Climate Protection (the front group for his dealing behind the scenes) has launched a $300 million ad campaign demanding government get larger and more regulating on individuals and business - all for a "crisis" that does not exist.

In the U.K., Gore is not allowed to speak in public about his Global Warming Alliance Company because to do so would violate racketeering laws by "peddling a false prospectus", yet stupid gullible Americans just gobble up his scam. While the liberal public schools in the USA force-feed Gore's bullshit down the heads of innocent students, the smarter British schools cannot show Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" because is full of lies, deceptions, and fact-less conclusions.

Many proponents of the global warming hysteria, such as environmental organizations, must take radical positions to increase their donations. So do scientists dependent on government grants. As more of local and federal government becomes more liberal (socialist) then the proponents of this lie will have the power of government to force compliance to the false god.

The only climate change is Gore's climate of fear, and his socialist politicians that will be all too happy to enforce it.

Dreams For Few, Nightmares For Most

I'm so totally amazed how many people have been suckered into the utopian scam of Barack Obama. Lies without basis in our Constitution, he promises everything for everyone - even promises to people outside of the USA.

I'm so totally amazed how such a large percent of black voters have traded common sense for color recognition. Totally unreal. Totally racial voting. Promises without a plan - recipe for disaster.

This is not the first time a liberal black, or in the case of Obama - half black, has promised change, promised utopia, promised they will force everyone to love each other - not the first time at all.

Consider Dr. Willie W. Herenton - black Democrat Liberal Mayor of Memphis Tennessee. Here is a liberal Democrat that promised the very same dreams to the people of Memphis. He was going to turn the city around, provide jobs, provide hope, provide equality. Mayor Herenton is in his fifth term now - and has yet to deliver on those dreams. Crime is rampant in Memphis, as a matter of fact police in Memphis just shut down four motels for drugs and prostitution - the two big employment opportunities in Mayor Herenton's dream city:

"Frankly, I'm a little fed up with this kind of activity," said Bill Gibbons, district attorney general.

An undercover police investigation allegedly uncovered a hot bed of criminal activity inside the motels.

"I say it again, criminal activity will not be tolerated at these businesses and drug and prostitution markets will not be tolerated on the streets of Memphis," said Memphis Police Director Larry Godwin.

• Failed to address multiple allegations of improprieties regarding Memphis Light Gas and Water
• Served as the prime target and catalyst for the City Charter rewrite
• Angered citizens to the point of becoming a target of a citizen recall effort
• Mayor Herenton called for a halt to early voting due to "irregularities". The Shelby County Election Commission stated that early voting would continue
• Done little in response to the significant rise in crime under his leadership, stating that "No mayor in any American city can solve the crime problem."

Higher taxes, higher crime, increased government controls, supporting special interest groups, loss of freedoms --- Welcome to the dream world of liberals - and your nightmare.

The Game Of Gas

Oil, the oil industry, and the entire concept of energy independence has been nothing but a huge scam on the American consumers. For decades both Republicans and Democrats have promised energy independence and lofty goals of new sustainable energy. Let's look at some that Lawrence Dickerson from Offshore-mag.com recalls

Republican President Richard Nixon, January 1974, when our nation was importing 35% of our oil:

Let this be our national goal: At the end of the decade, in the year 1980, the United States will not be dependent on any other country for the energy we need to provide our jobs, to heat our homes, and to keep our transportation going.

Democrat President Jimmy "oil lines" Carter, 1979's Crisis of Confidence Speech, our nation importing over 48% of our oil:

I am tonight setting a clear goal for the energy policy of the United States. Beginning this moment, the nation will never use more foreign oil than we did in 1977 - never.

Republican President George H. W. Bush, 1991, in his National Energy Strategy:

When our administration developed our national energy strategy, three principles guided our policy: reducing our dependence on foreign oil, protecting our environment, and promoting economic growth.

By 1993, our oil imports reached 50%.

Democrat President William Clinton, June 2000 letter:

With so much attention focused on the recent spike in gasoline prices and OPEC's decision to increase production quotas, it is critical that we not lose sight of our nation's long-term energy needs. For seven years, my Administration has pursued a sound, comprehensive policy to address those needs.

Empty promises from both sides - and still these empty promises continue in the debates. Politicians lie about energy. Energy issues make for great political talk - and promises never kept. As far as gas goes, every government from local to federal makes huge amounts of money off of oil sales - do you really think politicians want to see that revenue stream dry up? (Oregon was the first with a gas tax).

My steps to energy independence:

1. Allow offshore drilling in American territories - much safer than transporting oil in ships. Once we even announced this expect OPEC to drop oil prices dramatically.
2. Assess a 10% requirement (NOT A TAX) on oil company gross profits that would be need be spent on new energy research and development. Anything new that generates energy or improvements to efficiency to current technologies. The energy R&D must be for non-combustible technologies.
3. Assess a "frivolous gas device" fee of 10% of the sales price for worthless gas devices where alternatives exist. At the top of the list would be gas blowers often used by landscape companies to blow leaves onto someone else's property.
4. Restart nuclear power plants. Safe, efficient, and cost-effective yet environmental extremists have kept such clean sources of power from being built for over 30 years.
   

Those are just a start, I'm sure you could think of many more. Just watch the candidates on both sides of the isle make promises about energy independence. My readers will be informed that it's just the same old BS.

To put JFK's space challenge into the goal of energy independence and new energy technologies:

We choose to discover new energy technologies in this decade, and do the other things -- not because they are easy; but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills; because that challenge is one that we're willing to accept; one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win -- and the others, too.

So let's stop advancing more red tape, more bureaucracy, more taxes and let's set some hard-core technology goals to achieve. It will never be solved by BIG GOVERNMENT or by the UN.

Of Nobel Lies And Propaganda

It was no surprise to me that Al Gore was awarded half a Nobel prize (the other half went to an arm of the scandal-ridden UN), after all, the Norwegian Nobel Committee is about as socialist as they come and it's in their best interest to propagate such deception and outright lies. Some candidates are trying desperately to ride the Gore wave by linking this fallacy to the national security of the United States.

The National Post put the real question up-front:

Should children become tools of propagandists, their schools able to serve as indoctrination centres that teach students to parrot the views of the powers-that-be rather than think for themselves?

The article is about schools in the U.K. where standards are more stringent than in North America (where public schools are government indoctrination centers). Last week the British High Court ruled that such partisan works cannot be presented in schools without identifying them for what they are.

Teachers who mislead their pupils into thinking that Gore's film accurately represents the science of global warming are in violation of the "Political indoctrination" section of the country's Education Act of 1996, which explicitly requires that: "The local education authority, governing body and head teacher shall forbid ... the promotion of partisan political views in the teaching of any subject in the school."

Wow - somewhere a government that makes sure students aren't used as vessels of political indoctrination! (Such a law against indoctrination in the public schools would never be passed by our increasingly liberal government which relies on such propaganda.) The High Court found 11 hard-core lies that Gore fabricated:

1. The film claims that melting snows on Mount Kilimanjaro demonstrate global warming. The government's expert was forced to concede that this is not correct.
2. The film suggests that evidence from ice cores proves that rising CO2 caused temperature increases over 650,000 years. The court found that the film was misleading: Over that period, the rises in CO2 lagged behind the temperature rises by 800 to 2,000 years.
3. The film uses emotive images of Hurricane Katrina, which it suggests was caused by global warming. The government's expert had to accept that it was "not possible" to attribute one-off events to global warming.
4. The film attributes the drying up of Lake Chad to global warming. The government's expert had to accept that this was not the case.
5. The film claims that a study showed that polar bears had drowned due to disappearing Arctic ice. It turned out that Gore had misread the study: In fact, four polar bears drowned because of a particularly violent storm.
6. The film threatens that global warming could stop the Gulf Stream, throwing Europe into an ice age. The claimant's evidence was that this was a scientific impossibility.
7. The film blames global warming for species losses, including coral reef bleaching. The government could not find any evidence to support this claim.
8. The film suggests that the Greenland ice covering could melt, causing sea levels to rise dangerously. The evidence is that Greenland will not melt for millennia.
9. The film suggests that the Antarctic ice covering is melting. The evidence was that it is in fact increasing.
10. The film suggests that sea levels could rise by seven metres, causing the displacement of millions of people. In fact, the evidence is that sea levels are expected to rise by about 40 centimetres over the next 100 years, and that there is no such threat of massive migration.
11. The film claims that rising sea levels have caused the evacuation of certain Pacific islands to New Zealand. The government was unable to substantiate this claim and the court observed that this appears to be a false claim.
    

Upon receiving the award, the former vice president announced that the winnings from it ($750,000) would be donated to the Alliance for Climate Protection. This non-profit organization founded by - yep - Al Gore.

YouTube Debate: What A Farce

de·bate: (noun), a discussion, as of a public question in an assembly, involving opposing viewpoints.

Liberal media is touting tonight's so-called "debate" as "revolutionary", "inspired", and to quote the (unions killed our city) Detroit Free Press:

Yet, I live in hope that tonight's CNN/YouTube presidential debate (7 on CNN) will restore my faith -- or at least my interest level -- in unscripted democracy in action.

"Unscripted"? It is totally scripted, censored, filtered, and sanitized. Are these liberals totally brain dead or do they really think the American public is that STUPID?

I turned to CNN this morning and to quote CNN:

"We are going through the thousands of YouTube questions to pick those we feel reflect what's on the mind of Americans".

In other words, the whole thing is a sham. A farce. A deception. A lie in the face of Americans that is typical liberalism in action.

CNN will censor any tough or embarrassing questions. Expect the questions to be such liberal shit like (mostly young people) asking:

• Why can't my mom or dad have that operation then need just because we can't afford health insurance (yet they can afford computers, video cameras, cell phones, etc.)?
  
  
• The cost of my university attendance is going up, and if I have to get a job to help pay for the cost of my education then I won't be able to party as much as I'd like. We want more grants from the government. Can you abolish the student loan program?

There are even some Democrats that refuse to go on Fox for fear of tough questions - knowing how Bill (I caused 9/11) Clinton was faced with touch questions - then freaked out afterwards.

Questions that will never make it on the air:

Parishioners of the Goreology have been issued a revise version of their bible. What's out is referring to their cult as "Global Warming". The prophesies of Prophet Gore just didn't fall into place like they were supposed to.

The horrible hurricane season that was suppose to follow right after Katrina didn't.

The hot winters? Well we're into April and the Midwest and parts of the east are struggling with snow storms still.

Then the Savage Nation posts photo-facts that one of the Glaciers that Gore used in his infamous movie (that liberals drooled over) is not shrinking, but growing.

Now liberals and socialists are embarrassed - enough so they are dumping the phrase "Global Warming" for "Climate Change".

The Climate Church elders have decreed that all publications, studies, and efforts to push nations and societies into their way of thinking are to make references to Climate Change - not Global Warming.

No joke. Just search Google or Yahoo news for the new phraseology - it's what's current. Socialist anti-American United Nations now uses this phrase as well. Just think of it - if the climate changes then it must be the result of capitalism. Amazing.

I will post a few lines on this con artist, but I will not be the first. I found that some sites have beaten me and already posted. The question with any con job is always the same - will people listen and learn or will they continue to be scammed.

The picture with this post is the Nashville TN mansion of Albert Arnold Gore. Everyone knows by now Gore uses over 10 times the electricity of the typical Nashville household - and has little energy efficient technology to help the environment that he crusades for. Sorry liberals - it's now a fact so don't bother to try and spin it.

It's worse than one might have imagined, yet no surprise since a liberal is involved. Lying to the American people, lying to the world. Grouped with his lying so-called experts (socialist globalist) "thinkers" he's already positioned to reap on his con.

One well-known confidence tricks is called the Paranoia Scam:

a scam that involves the con man telling the mark various lies about the different scams (corporations) and instigating false attempts (corporations are killing the planet) so that the mark (feeling worried and with no place to hide their money from fraud) turns to the con man (or his cronies) for help.

If Mr. FlimFlam Gore believed in global warming then why hasn't he taken steps to reduce his energy dependency on fossil fuels? I see no solar panels on his roof.

But to be a flimflam man he has to financially benefit from his con. Well surprise - Gore's carbon offsets he pays go right back to his own pocket. That's right - the firm he pays (and others) is a firm that (surprise) he owns.

The scam of Gore is the scam of all socialists - make people believe government needs to take more control of everything. I'll use the bullets posted from the American Thinking today (please check their site out):

• 1st - Gore sets up a company that will invest in other companies that will benefit from global warming alarmism
• 2nd - Gore gets some Hollywood types to fund and produce a movie designed to scare the c-c-carbon out of the population
• 3rd - Gore travels the world promoting this movie, while pushing the view that a cataclysm is imminent if the world doesn't immediately act
• 4th - an adoring media falls for the con hook, line, and sinker. Rather than debunking the flaws in the theories, the media promote every word of it while advancing the concept that Gore's views represent those of an overwhelming majority of scientists
• 5th - scared governments and citizens across the globe invest in alternative energy programs driving up the shares of companies Gore's group has already invested in
• 6th - Gore and his cronies make billions as they laugh all the way to the bank at the stupidity of their fellow citizens
• 7th - (my addition) - nominate the flimflam man for a Nobel prize to give him credibility
  

Now be a good dumb liberal and go buy some carbon credits to make you feel less guilty!

Enforce Responsibility - Iraq; Terrorist Plot

Most intelligent people know that freedom is not free. The reason there is a cost is because there are always bad people that don't want people to be free. Simple, huh?

As far as I'm concerned the "Iraq War" ended after Saddam Hussein was toppled and the multi-national force was free to roam and inspect for those illusive WMD (which I believe were transferred to Syria - at least the bulk of the chemical WMD). Everything after has been police enforcement. Sort of like police enforcement in gang-ridden Los Angeles, just a bit deadlier with Islamic motivations and not drugs.

I think it is impossible to have an "Iraq War" when Iraq now has an elected government and their own constitution. We are not at war with Iraq the nation, but merely providing extreme police protection and training of new Iraqi police and troops.

Now is the time for all Iraqis to take responsibility for (mainly) the USA providing police and security services. Time to start handing invoices - due upon receipt - for services rendered in the past, present, and future. So President Bush - please start sending invoices with these line items included:

• Lump-sum compensations to families that lost their child fighting for Iraqis
• Payment into a fund to provide forever support to those de-limbed, mutilated, and otherwise handicapped providing services to Iraq
• Total reimbursement for all armament used (and destroyed)
• Total reimbursement for all provisions required
• Payment for transportation for troops to cycle back to visit their families at least every 6 months
• And lots more - until every penny is paid back and every life, whether living or damaged, has been addressed.

When the TV is turned on this am CNN reports another terrorist plot stopped by MI5. They tell how the plot was to kidnap a British Muslim soldier and behead him, then put their video on the internet - presumably to generate fear and terror. At no time did they identify the terrorist suspects in any way.

I switch to Fox News and the same story - except their story wasn't censored like the CNN story. Fox clearly identified the terrorists as Islamic.

CNN censored the news per CAIR demands. Just read the CNN story online for yourself - sanitized to hide the identity of the suspects as being Muslims.

Fox News did not censor the news and is not submissive to CAIR demands.
